From that day on, I haven’t stopped going back literally, I’m there daily. The vibes, the people, the quality… everything about this place just makes you want to keep coming back. The staff is always so warm and welcoming, and they treat you like family from the moment you walk in. Not to mention, my dog is just as obsessed as I am! I came two nights in a row for my birthday (one night with family and the other night with friends). My waitresses were Mia and Jade. They were sensational!!! Mia was amazing and remembered I ordered the chocolate dipped strawberries for the next evening and made sure to have them prepared and ready to go. Jade went above and beyond for my birthday bringing me beautifully decorated plates. They made my birthday weekend so special!! I miss the Darien location in the sense that it wasn’t this easily accessible haha. They will get tired of seeing my face (especially at happy hour!)“

“Absolutely phenomenal shop! Not sure what to rave about first: the food, the taste, the owners… All outstanding. I made a trip over an hour long to come for their pumpkin French toast bagel. It didn’t live up to the hype in my head; it far exceeded it! And toasted paired with maple brown sugar cream cheese was an out of body experience. Meeting the owners, even briefly, they are fantastic people who are extremely personable, thoughtful, and dedicated beyond belief. The shop is super cute inside and with place to sit and enjoy. Absolutely will be a regular stop from now on, whether on or out of the way.“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

If it is not working for black hog maybe raise price of card a little? We love the beer but beer is becoming expensive at all of the breweries. “Our server Devine was amazing and so well poised. The appetizers of meatballs and their charcuterie was presented beautifully. The only issue was with dinner. We got the squid ink pasta and the filet. You could 110% taste the food was high quality and fresh but it missed the mark for us on taste. It lacked so much flavor. If you’re looking for a good simple meal with 5 star service, this is the place but if you’re looking for dishes that the chef cares about flavor and excitement, this restaurant lacks in that. “Went to La Strega today for lunch. What a great place! Had one of the best deli sandwiches I have had in quite a long time. I had The Annie and I added sopressata. “We visited Middlebury's greatest ice cream while we made a stop in Middlebury, Connecticut. Despite being a small store, they are able to produce a wide variety of flavors. We were served by a really nice young girl.

“VIVI’S made my sister’s wedding party much more memorable!

My sister LOVES to drink some good ol’ fashion bubble tea that she decided to get a bulk order for her wedding party! As soon as word got out, everyone (mainly our cousins) got HYPED UP. There were even those that had it for the first time and got hooked! Everyone loved it, from simple Classic Black Milk Tea to Jasmine Milk Tea with White Pearls or Lychee Jelly! Of course for such a large order, we got a keep it simple, though admittedly I decided to grab a couple dairy-free options for those who can’t handle the power of milk. Thank you Vivi’s for supporting us on this special project and we’ll certainly be back just to have a relaxing “bubbly” time“

“CHANGE YOUR PACKAGING

Your beer is good, damn good. Y'know what isn't good? The can it comes in. I was asked by an employee if what I was buying was even beer because the stuff you wrap around your cans is seriously unappealing. I can't imagine it's cheap either. 99% of stickers look better than the wrap on your cans, really, just a sticker would be better.

The meat of this: a fully colored can doesn't make people think beer, it makes people think soda or hard seltzer, case and point the liquor store clerk who literally didn't know if it was beer when I checked out because the packaging is so weird. If the can gets even slightly bent in your hands, like even just a little spring from picking it up, you get this icky feeling of crunching plastic due to the wrap on the can. I'm sure a simple sticker would be cheaper than this considering brewers large and small use those instead. This packaging is terrible. This packaging is literally good for nothing, it lacks shelf appeal, it feels awful, and there's no way it's cheaper than a simple sticker. Even if you kept the same all-black design, it'd still be more recognizable as beer with a sticker instead allowing more of the metal to show near the top and bottom. This packaging is bad and beyond that I can't imagine it isn't an unnecessary expense considering how both large and small breweries label their beer. If you want something more fancy then invest in printing directly onto the cans like bigger breweries (or smaller ones with more successful beers), or if want something less expensive that actually looks and feels decent then switch to stickers, this plastic wrap looks pathetic and feels worse so right now you're kinda picking the worst of both worlds paying more for a worse product.

Why 5 stars? Great beer, I like supporting nearby businesses, and all things considered a gripe about labeling/packaging is minor especially in this case. Don't let it stop you from getting their beer or visiting this brewery, instead buy the beer and visit the brewery but also leave a backhanded 5 star review about how their packaging blows“

“Came here on a quiet weeknight and was amazed by the authentic Italian cuisine. Started off with a wonderful Burrata then I had the Rigatoni Bolgenese with was really good. We also bought a loaf of the Italian Bread to bring home. That bread with some Cabot butter and you are on to something!! Would visit again.“

“I've been here a few times and each time I leave happy. The drinks I order always have a good amount of tapioca pearls. It's also nice that you can adjust the sweetness and type of milk. The drinks are made quickly even with the large crowd that was in there at the time I was there. I ordered the Thai tea with tapioca pearls, oat milk, 30% sugar and it was delicious!“

“Went there for my birthday on Saturday…. The atmosphere was very nice. Drinks really good. Music even better . Was having a good time until one of the bartenders told us to move in a rude way. No we have been dancing and coming back to the same spot at the bar so it was empty . Y ask us to move how abt the couple next to us. Or other people that have been standing there the same amount of time or longer. Not sure if I’ll go back which is really bad . 1 person can really ruin the way u see a place.“

“Exceeded my expectations! I ordered through door dash and was so happy with the quality considering it was delivery. The salsa tasted so fresh and the chips are definitely homemade. They tasted like they'd just come out the fryer after 30 sec in the microwave. For my entree I got the Chicken Burrito which was amazing. It had so much flavor and was huge. Half of it is plenty to fill even the biggest appetite. I will definitely order from here again!“
