The person working was very helpful & nice. I asked if they make the ice cream and she said yes, they make it at another locstion and bring it there. I got a 2 scoop Sunday with toasted almond & maple walnut ice cream, hot fudge, and real whipped cream.
There are many toppings to choose from.
They whip the whipped cream for your order, next time I'll ask for it without sugar because it was too sweet, but still good.
I took half of it home for later 👍🍨🍦
They also have cakes & pies & other types of treats.

“Not only is this ice cream shop serving amazing treats that are delicious with great service, but now they have a Food Truck to serve the yummy ice cream as well. We got the Scoopys Truck for our daughter’s birthday party as she loves their ice cream. It was a huge hit with everyone there and as always the service was great!! “Overall, Ben & Jerry’s is a great spot to stop by for a scoop of ice cream! it’s been a staple of W. Hartford Center for many years now, and I’m grateful that it’s maintained such a long-term presence. The staff are always friendly, kind, and very efficient! The price is a little steep, but so is everything in West Hartford these days.

Overall, there’s a good selection of ice cream! I consume only dairy free ice cream, and usually they will have at least 2 to 3 flavors. The selection of dairy ice cream flavors is more expansive, and they truly have something for everyone in terms of taste. Their shakes and smoothies also looked delicious as well!

Unfortunately, the line is usually extremely long in the summer. The last time I was there, in late June, the line stretched all the way out the door. There were only two employees working, and they seemed quite young. They were doing a wonderful job, but it looked like a lot to juggle. In the warmer months, it may be helpful to staff more people due to the sheer volume.

I wanted to mention something that occurred at my last visit that concerned me. The line was extremely long. The couple in front of us had two medium-large sheepdogs. The dogs were extremely anxious and nervous being in such a long line and in a small and cramped space. They were clearly not doing well. A staff member kindly asked the couple to bring the dogs outside. They were obviously not service dogs as they had no vest or badge and were clearly not trained to be calm in stressful situations. The couple then proceeded to lie and say they were service animals. The staff dropped it, but I feel that a sign may be helpful for the front door stating service animals only. It was uncomfortable to see these dogs in distress in such a small shop, they were whining and very anxious.

“Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I’ve been going here for a long time and have always gotten excellent customer service. The smoothies are also very good. Don’t listen to the bad reviews and try this place. You won’t regret it.“

“I love coming here. My go to order is the egg and cheese wrap with peppers and onions and the vegetable wrap. The workers are all very nice, patient, and friendly. I highly recommend them. “My daughter and I go to this Sweet Frog location often as we live in town. We even continued to go during the height of the pandemic because it’s important to support small businesses. I never once complained when they barricaded their public bathrooms during Covid and didn’t allow anyone to use them. Not even when my daughter had an emergency bathroom situation did I complain. We went over to Whole Foods and figured it out. But tonight I felt not wanted there. Their posted hours for Friday state they are open 9:30pm. This is untrue they are open till 9. We arrived after an evening at the park around 8:40pm (plenty of time right). I was met with “Just so you know we’re closing in a minute”. No “Hi” no “Welcome to Sweet Frog”. I actually turned to the young man and said “I’m sorry?”. Because I was so taken back at the odd greeting I received. It was so cold and rude. I have no issues with a business letting me know it’s almost time to close. I won’t even enter a business super close to closing especially if I don’t believe I will be able to get out in time. From the reviews below this seems to be the norm here now. I have to say the Froyo is always good and always fresh and I’ve never had a problem with their products. It is expensive and they are back to weighing the cups again so just be prepared for at least $10-$12 for two ice creams at minimum.“
