“Might be one of my favorite South Indian spots in all of CT. Every dish was fantastic the poondu podi dosa was crispy, spicy and the sambar was delightful. The chicken 65 was crispy on the outside but so tender on the inside, the parotta was flaky and so shockingly fresh and the chicken curry that went with it was so wonderful. We also got the vegetable pakodas, so crispy and tasty. Over 6/5, loved everything about this place.“

The dosas are crispy, light, and absolutely delicious, paired with chutneys that pack a punch of flavor. The people were friendly and attentive and were especially wonderful. If you're in Rocky Hill and craving genuine Indian cuisine, Dosa Hut is the go-to spot. “First and foremost the ambience and the service was good and apart from that we ordered drums of heaven and chicken 65 which are worth eating and later on we tried kozih chettinad which is a bit spicy but it was good. At last the best dessert we had Gulam Jamun “

“The food is always delicious no matter what we order! The service is friendly and responsive; fast but you never feel rushed. Their food is fresh, rice is fluffy, vegetable are my favorite. When we ordered a shrimp dish, there were so many shrimp it made splitting the dish with everyone very easy. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is a pleasure going there.“

“Wonderful staff! Super friendly and fast service. We ordered the vegetarian appetizer platter and chicken madras. Both were amazing! We ordered the madras at medium and it definitely has spice to it even at that level. We will definitely be back!“

“Best butter chicken in CT!!! I’ve never been to the restaurant before but I always order their food through Door Dash. And butter chicken is my favorite dish so I have tried it from so many other restaurants, but this place is the BEST!! It tastes so good, perfect in every aspect of flavors, not too salty, not too sweet. The spice doesn’t overpower the taste of chicken, and the texture is so smooth, which is mainly what I like about butter chicken. Try it and you’ll see what I’m talking about. (Their garlic naan and mango lassi are amazing as well. I always get them all together like a trio)“

“Himalaya hits the spot, especially on a rainy day (which we seem to be having a lot of lately). Not far from the Berlin train station, Himalaya is takeout only, and seems to have been for some time. The dining room is darkened and blocked off, with a sign directing you to the pickup table. There was a noticeable smell of mold upon entering...possibly due to the aforementioned rain? But the food was perfectly fine, if a little chilly in temperature. Nothing a quick zap in the microwave can't fix. I went with good ol' chicken tikka masala, but there are plenty of options for the more adventurous. You are required to choose a spice level, and as the heat increases, so does the price! I chose "mild" but would definitely kick it up a notch or two next time. All in all, I enjoyed my quick lunch and would put Himalaya on the short list next time I'm craving Indian takeout.“
