“Annmarie has been running this place literally since I was born. I have been coming here as long as my conscious memory can recall. Way back in the day, they were in the building where the bank is now, on the corner, and eating a turkey sandwich on rye there is one of my earliest memories.

I no longer live in town, but whenever I’m back, I’m going to Pete’s. I usually do two breakfast sandwiches - a ham egg & cheese, and a sausage egg & cheese. For lunch, either the Gold Rush (roast beef) or the Ravishing Rick’s (turkey) will heal you.

They are also very FAST when making the food, I can order a chicken cutlet sandwich and it’ll come out fresh and hot in literally 5 minutes or less. The two workers are friendly and for Danbury the prices are good too. Not sure if it’s a hidden gem, but I’m glad I found this place. Great place for
a quick breakfast or lunch.“

Got the Italian combo on white bread, added pickles and dressing on the side, and ate the whole sandwich. They have a nice sized menu, a couple sides in the to-go cooler, a good variety in the beverage cooler and the staff were attentive and kind. Outdoor seating is always a plus. Will definitely be a return customer if I’m in the area.“

Deli staff call you by name if you are a regular. And consistent amazing quality to the point I've come here almost every weekday for the last 3+ months.
