“I discovered this store when I was High School, around 1977. Graduated 1978 from Wibur Cross. They were on Edgewood Avenue and Platt Street. Then they moved to Whalley Avenue. I still tell people about this store. Always love it. 🥰“

“This diner was amazing. There were 8 of us and everyone raved about their food. We went back a second day because it was so good. It is more like a gourmet breakfast. Delicious! Do not skip this diner on your next visit. Booths may be small for 8 people but we made it work. Food is worth it!!“

From the friendly staff whom immediacy greeted us upon arrival to tbe owner who made a special trip outdoors after personally cooking our crepes in the kitchen. We tried their chicken pesto crepe w/ tomato and spinach- absolutely delicious ! And also the salmon, cream cheese, tomato, caper, red onion crepe. Yum! We also sampled their lattes both hot and cold brew and a marvelous bacon cheddar biscuit warmed up and buttered ! They have sweet crepes as well and many non- crepe options. “I have been eating at Claire’s since the 80’s when I moved to Ct. from a Midwest college town filled with healthy dining options. It felt like home then and still does. The biggest problem is deciding which special to try. I seldom make it to the “ regular “ menu…I’ve traveled to 45 states and 35 countries and Claire’s is in my top 10 worldwide…seriously.“

Worthy of the drive to East Haven I know what a pain Longing for the good old days when I could just roll up for some cupcakes it was so convenient. “Steve did our wedding cake on 10/11/25 and it was delicious ! From our first meeting with him he was very attentive, and drew up exactly the type of cake we were looking for. He literally made my Pinterest cake photo into reality. The cake not only looked stunning but it tasted so good too. The cake was so fresh and flavorful. The frosting was delicious. “The burgers they serve here are special and offer unique combinations. The employees bring the food to your table with a smile and are always available to help if needed. They have well kept bathrooms which are private. You can also order regular fries, sweet potato fries, and some chips that are made on site fresh. Not to mention you can order any of those loaded which is to say covered with bacon and cheese as well as a few extra goodies. To end the meal they offer some of the best thick milk shakes with bits of good stuff like Oreos etc in them.“

“Hen and Heifer has excellent pastries! My only complaint is that they aren't open very often, making it challenging to enjoy their treats. This is also a good spot to pick up a gift or treats to take to a get together. We love stopping in for a coffee and cream puff!“

“I first saw Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies at a craft show at the High Plains Community Center. I tried a sampler of six (out of the eight available) flavors: • Traditional chocolate chip • Salted caramel • S'mores • Cannoli • Blueberry lemon • Orange creamsicle The other flavors were oatmeal raisin walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip. The six flavors I had were absolutely amazing. The cookies were light and flavorful, absolutely delicious. They make gift baskets too, so you can share the goodness. Highly recommended.“

“If you're looking for great food, delicious drinks and a good atmosphere. Head to Eli's! We have never had an issue at this establishment. The food is always great (try the chicken bites!) The drinks NEVER disappoint and the service is amazing! I am a bit picky, we had a server once, Dante, who was very kind and patient with my ridiculous needs. A few weeks later, we returned and he remembered all of my allergies and what I didnt like from pur last visit. Needless to say we ask for Dante every time we go in. He's outgoing, funny and super attentive. Ask for him by name! However, I'm sure all the other servers are great! We had a server named Danielle once and she was awesome too.
Because of the great service we have always recieved from Dante, I've even booked my corporate Holiday parties here.

Try to leave with out trying something-- everything looks and smells so good, it's impossible! The coffee was delicious, too.“
