“I had to review on Facebook because I already posted a Google review. I am obsessed with this place and the staff and the food. I came two nights in a row for my birthday (one night with family and the other night with friends). My waitresses were Mia and Jade. They were sensational!!! Mia was amazing and remembered I ordered the chocolate dipped strawberries for the next evening and made sure to have them prepared and ready to go. Jade went above and beyond for my birthday bringing me beautifully decorated plates. They made my birthday weekend so special!! I miss the Darien location in the sense that it wasn’t this easily accessible haha. They will get tired of seeing my face (especially at happy hour!)“

From the friendly staff whom immediacy greeted us upon arrival to tbe owner who made a special trip outdoors after personally cooking our crepes in the kitchen. We tried their chicken pesto crepe w/ tomato and spinach- absolutely delicious ! And also the salmon, cream cheese, tomato, caper, red onion crepe. Yum! We also sampled their lattes both hot and cold brew and a marvelous bacon cheddar biscuit warmed up and buttered ! They have sweet crepes as well and many non- crepe options. This Cafe will not disappoint! A beautiful menu with many selections of fresh, health conscious choices as well as some slightly more indulgent pasterie options! “I discovered this store when I was High School, around 1977. Graduated 1978 from Wibur Cross. They were on Edgewood Avenue and Platt Street. Then they moved to Whalley Avenue. I still tell people about this store. Always love it. 🥰“

Worthy of the drive to East Haven I know what a pain Longing for the good old days when I could just roll up for some cupcakes it was so convenient. He literally made my Pinterest cake photo into reality. The cake not only looked stunning but it tasted so good too. The cake was so fresh and flavorful. The frosting was delicious. “I first saw Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies at a craft show at the High Plains Community Center. I tried a sampler of six (out of the eight available) flavors: • Traditional chocolate chip • Salted caramel • S'mores • Cannoli • Blueberry lemon • Orange creamsicle The other flavors were oatmeal raisin walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip. The six flavors I had were absolutely amazing. The cookies were light and flavorful, absolutely delicious. They make gift baskets too, so you can share the goodness. Highly recommended.“

“The burgers they serve here are special and offer unique combinations. The employees bring the food to your table with a smile and are always available to help if needed. They have well kept bathrooms which are private. You can also order regular fries, sweet potato fries, and some chips that are made on site fresh. Not to mention you can order any of those loaded which is to say covered with bacon and cheese as well as a few extra goodies. To end the meal they offer some of the best thick milk shakes with bits of good stuff like Oreos etc in them.“

I ordered the Smoke Shack Double with French Fries and a 50/50 Lemonade/Iced Tea. My fiancé ordered a 6 piece of Chicken Bites….Hot, Juicy and Delicious.
