“This is a great spot. One of the gems of Bridgeport, CT. The wings were incredible. The type of wings that had the perfect amount of crisp on the skin. Outstanding flavors and decent pricing too. Drinks were nice, and the atmosphere was a good vibe. I came from out of town, but I will make it a point to stop by for the food and the pre-game when I go back.“
“The Taco Loco truck was an amazing addition to my daughter’s engagement picnic this weekend! Food was outstanding, with 7 different taco varieties, salad, rice & beans, chips & churros! Maddy & Jimmy were fantastic! Arrived early, went straight to work, & were extremely friendly & courteous to all of our guests. Highly recommend them!!“
“We originally had a reservation across the street, but it turned out that they were actually closed so we ended up at Bank Sports Bar and are we ever glad we did! We were looking for a place to stop to get beers and a bite to eat before attending a concert nearby. When we walked in there were more than 65 in the bar and the vibe was exactly what we needed. Quickly we noticed there was one bartender behind the bar - ut oh. Right? Nope. Britt was truly amazing and this place is lucky to have her. We never went without a drink; she was attentive and kind. Turns out there was one person in the kitchen, too - AJ. Our food came out delicious and hot. All of the respect to these two. We hope to be back soon!“
“I ordered from this restaurant using Uber eats because they had an insane bogo deal. First, I'd like to say that everything was wrapped up very nicely and they provided lots of sauce. That is always a big plus, the food also looked nice in the packaging and was nice and hot when we picked it up. The only reason I deducted a star is because not all the dishes were so good. The burrito was very good, the steak was too dry and not very tasty. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their cemita. The chicken cemita was soooo good. I've never had a Mexican sandwich but I'm definitely going to start considering them more after this experience. The carnitas tacos were tasty, but the sausage ones were just too dry. The elite would have been excellent if it had more Chile powder, but it was still very good. All in all, easily worth the money and definitely look forward to trying more of their food.“
“Found my new favorite place. Went here for lunch with some friends, and had the most amazing, filling meal. I had the crispy curry chicken with rice, and the portion was huge, and soooo delicious! I can't wait to go back and try all other dishes. Service was fast and great! The place itself is very cool, located very centrally in downtown Bridgeport. Highly recommend for pho, ramen, curry fans.“
“This was our first time at Chaplin's and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was excellent, well prepared and hot when it arrived at the table. The Chaplin burger was exceptional and the portion was large. The noise level a little high, they could use some soundproofing material in the ceiling, would definitely return again“
“Delicious meal! We recently returned from a trip to Barcelona and we’re trying to recreate some of the excellent meals we had there a bit closer to home. El Barrio fit that perfectly- we really enjoyed the tapas and paella out on their intimate patio. A truly delicious meal- we will be back!“
“The four of us ate here last Saturday night. The service was excellent. Young man was our waiter Creative menu. Arancini balls were great . My veal was awesome. Lasagne, flounder was all very good Good wine list We were with a very hard to please diner. He loved everything and gave it his blessing by saying “We will be back”. Thank you for an excellent experience! See you soon, Martha“
“Hard to find, worth the search!Tucked in on Donnelly Walk, JB Perceval's is the cocktail spot to find. Great cocktails, in a great venue with a great staff. Perfect combination. Humphrey Bogart greets you as you enter this throwback to comfort and great drinks. Small bites are available and they are very good too. What a contrast to the more casual, college crowd bars and restaurants nearby. J.B.'s is an adult oasis of flavor infused drinks served in great glassware by attentive folks in a great spot.Cheers!“
“Love the ambiance of this social-inspiring atmosphere. Televisions were on the current games, the menu was impressive with it's quality and variety. Great beer selection and value! I'd say this is a must stop if you're looking for a social spot in town.“
“Tuesday nights host guest chef of Umebroshi featuring Hawaiian-Asian fusion. If you want a flavor bomb, these are guys you want to meet up with. Chef Rob is one of the nicest folks around. If you're not into that kinda thing - come for the cocktails!! Not only are they cool offerings, but the presentation is top notch. The melon tasted just right, the tiki chip was cool and the dehydrated blood orange was a beautiful touch! It really is true you eat, or drink, with your eyes first!“
“Great first time there. Drinks were good. My major problem was that everything on the menu sounded good and I had a hard time deciding. I ended up choosing the cod sandwich and I can tell you they didn't try to cheat me. It was almost intimidating how large the sandwich was. It was delicious and based on how it looked another patron walked in asked what it was and ordered the same thing. Can't wait for another visit to try something else“
“My wife and I ordered take-out from Tacombi. We had been to one in Jersey city a long time ago and recalled it was quite delicious. So we were eager to try it when it came to Westport. To our delight the food was delicious. I had a Birria Taco Plato, I thought it was flavorful the beef did not disappoint maybe wish there was more. I like how they package it for take-out. My wife had the fish taco and shrimp taco. I tried shrimp taco, it had a very bold flavor that catchs the back sides of the tounge (highly recommend). We also ordered corn esquites, best way to eat corn. Their Totopos (tortilla chips) are addicting nice crunch goes well with guacamole. We also chicken quesidilla, which was also pleasant maybe could have used more cheese. I look forward to dining in as the weather gets better.“
“10/10 dining experience always. Try the mofongo and shrimp or lomo saltado and get passion fruit juice or coconut milk in the side ?Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and our kids love the Pernil sandwich, coconut milk, and the extremely accommodating staff.“
“Love that you can order single tacos. Order yucca fries everytime I go there. Never have enough room for dessertParking: Tried stree eceral times, ended up in free parking in the lot across the street. Walk over was a little dicey due to the ice.“
“Cannot say enough! 3rd time visiting CT and stopped here. Food is delicious. Brussel sprouts, sweet potato fries, wings, pizza, salad…everything was great. Servers are friendly. I do suggest the beer flight for tasting a few! High recommend!“
“Order and picked up from here tonight for dinner. The place was busssssy.. the staff was moving but at the same time tentative to the customers but with it so busy looked a little overwhelmed. The sushi was amazing. I would go there again any time if it wasn't so far. I recommend coming to this place if your in the area. I also recommend if you like a light and tasty sushi.. get the green fuji rolll.. taste like a salad. We also got the hurricane roll, Philadelphia roll, and the spicy tuna... all of it was delicious“
“Manager came to check us out for a carry out order and he was so kind and generous. Added an additional margarita to the order on them and corrected an oversight in a matter of minutes. The food and service here is always wonderful! Thank you for being our family’s favorite Mexican spot!“
“Great food and drinks, friendly staff, good music, fun vibes! I went there tonight for a birthday dinner and we were at the scorpion table which has actual live scorpions inside it! All the guests in our party had different dishes and drinks, and everyone left full and happy. Will definitely be back again soon“
“Ordered takeout so can’t review the atmosphere or service of the restaurant, however the food was delicious! The person who handed over the food was kind & friendly. The portions are very generous as well. Will definitely order again!“
“First time here and I met up with family on a Saturday. I called in the reservation but it wasn't there when we arrived. It worked out though and after a 10 minute wait, we were seated. Party of 3 for dinner on Saturday. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria ($30) with burgers and had dessert too. Burgers cooked to order. Great toppings. A smiling server who checked on us nicely. Place was super busy but not overwhelming. A line the entire time because this place is popular. Cost about $140.“
“Living in Fairfield, we have a handful of regular places we either go out to eat or get take out from, and Malibu is right there on top of the list. We've been eating here for years, and I am constantly impressed with quality and flavors of the food. The few times we came here to eat, whether its with 6 people or 2 people, we always had exceptional service. The restaurant is also very cool inside, and on a nice warm day, has plenty of outdoor seating. One of my favorites is the Marinated Ahi Tuna rice bowl (ponzu marinated chopped tuna, guac, scallions, sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, spicy cucumbers, blueberries, miso-lime vinaigrette). But honestly, everything on the menu is good. My daughter is partial to the pork belly tacos.Highly recommend either for family meal or a night out with friends (drink menu is great too!)“
“Grabbed a quick dinner and drinks at the bar prior to a concert. Service is great, happy bartenders! We absolutely enjoyed our cocktails, spicy chicken sandwich, and snapper and pickled chili tacos. As out of towners, we picked 29 Markle based on location and reviews. We were not disappointed! It’s rare to luck out and find an amazing place like this!! Rebecca, our bartender, showed grace under fire with a packed room and a full bar!“
