“Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is eclectic antique Colonial home. The menu features several unusual dishes and some very original cocktails. I had the Slow Pan-Roasted Pork Chop with potato latkes and a side of sauteed mushrooms, all of which were very good. The wife had the Summer Courgetti Ribbons, a pasta and vegetable entree that was very unusual and flavorful. The prices were very fair, especially for this area of Connecticut. The service was a little lax, but in fairness, we arrived just before a big rush of dinner patrons. The manager, a young woman named Danny, was informative and took time to inform us about the restaurant's history. We had a great experience, and will certainly come again.“

“Our first time there and it was a wonderful experience. Saturday brunch on the upper deck (didn;t hurt that the weather was absolutely perfect). The wait staff was attentive without being overbearing and all four of us loved our food! (tuna tartare, burrata and the cheeseburger.) Must give an extra shout-out to their salt & pepper fries - they were over the top delicious - all four of us agreed on that! We'll be back!“

“we had everything from 5 different appetizers, to four entrees and 5 different desserts. We go out to eat all the time but have never gone here. So we tried it, the restaurant itself is gorgeous. The servers were very friendly and professional and on the ball. The food omg. What can I say it was magnificant. The manager came around and made sure everyone was happy, then the owner Danny came in and introduced himself. This is the best restaurant we have ever been to with the best food we have ever tasted. As I said we eat out alot but nothing compares. Hats off to all the staff and the owner. Well done. Cant wait to go back.“

“If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to have a drink…this is the place to be. The ambience is beautiful…the setting is calming and relaxing. Our bartender was Armand who was very accommodating..they have their own signature cocktails but Armand learned what we liked and made drinks based off of that..no complaints! :-) We also got the chance to meet one of the owners J.R. who was also very friendly …very happy to find such a nice *hidden gem* (pun intended) My spouse and I will definitely visit again..and again :-)“
