“My friends and I went for our Holiday dinner.We were greeted by the owner who was also our waitor, he was friendly and attentive.He sat us by the active fireplace, which we were greatful since the temperature was very cold in the dinning room.We noticed we were the only patrons in the restaurant which found odd since we were dinning on a Thursday Evening.The food and mixed drinks were excellent!We would return again but perhaps in the spring or summer when it is warmer.“

“What a pleasant surprise! After a search on Google Maps for a restaurant with vegan options, we made a detour from our road trip to the Catskills to stop at this Middle Eastern restaurant. My husband and I shared a VEGAN Mezza Special (12 plates) for two: Hommous, Baba Ghannouj, Tabbouli, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Falafel, Luby (Green Beans), Spinach Pies, Foul (Fava beans), Moujadara (lentils), Mousakaa, Fattouch (salad), Olives. We have dined in other Lebanese restaurants in the US and in the Middle East, and we both agree that the quality of the food in this restaurant surpasses them all. We were served by the owner Maha Hanna, who told us that her husband is the chef who created our delicious meal. We will most certainly be back whenever we are in the area!“
“We dined here on Sunday evening for a special occasion. We live so close by but haven’t tried this place so we decided to give it a go.The restaurant is cozy and the host and staffs were nice.We each got two different special menu which were roasted duck with blueberry sauce($27.99) and tuna steak salad ($29.99).They tasted decent.. we both finished the dish. To be specific, the blueberry sauce was too sweet for my taste and it overpowered the whole dish. It tasted like a desert- infact, I tried with a piece of bread and it was exactly like blueberry jam.The tuna salad was cooked properly, my husband was satisfied with the quality of food but he needed more food after that as the portion was too small.Overall, I feel like the portion could have been bigger but I need to try their regular menu and see the portion if we ever go back there in the future as we needed more food badly later.“
“The Sesame Seed Restaurant has been a favorite of our family, could it be over thirty years? We had a favorite waitress for many years. She had a wonderful smile and was lovely. The food is always good and the ambiance is like walking back in time. I would love it if they had gluten-free pasta options. I miss eating gnocchi and the raviolette!“
“Been here 5 times now. Everytime the staff is in a good mood, and food is even better. Even the guy on the phone was nice. The Food is really good, and I recommend this place to my friends all time. More of a take out place, there's tables if wanna eat there. And getting fresh food from here is cheaper than going to subway nextdoor lol. The menu has something for everyone too!“
“Everything really was great from start to finish. The staff was friendly, welcoming and attentive. The cocktails were delicious and so were both meals. Highly recommend the Greca paella and if they have the skirt steak on the special list, get it!“
“We came in about 20 minutes before they closed and still received amazing service. The cashier was super helpful and gave us great recommendations. I got the Baja wrap and it's now my new favorite local sandwich. Niko's is a must if you're in the area!“
“Food price / quality (value) rating 9.5. this place uses high quality ingredients and everything is cooked properly. Their Pizza is a Greek style pan pizza with a wonderfully thin crisp crust. I've gotten probably 30 pizzas here in the last 18 months and they've all been perfect! High quality cheeses and meats and generous toppings are always the norm. This is the only pizza I've been eating lately. I would recommend the meatball and hot pepper Pizza or the sausage and hot pepper pizza and always get a large. Easy access from exit 10 off i-84 in Newtown.“
