“To start with, I love the thick menu! I love that they give the back stories on the local products/farms they use. And the plethora of options make certain that both my husband and I can find something we like no matter what we're in the mood for. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has more than the same 6 things everybody else has and to know those items are made with locally sourced products. I can end with a cupcake made from scratch which also supports another small business instead of something premade from the same manufacturer everyone sources their desserts from. It's a win for me!“

“My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! Our waiter was Alton, he did a wonderful job and always addressed my husband as Sir. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!“

“Atmosphere is so chic. Amazing wine list. Food was overall delicious however my appetizer was barely warm. I had the grilled octopus and it got cold in the back as service was overall very slow. Servers were super nice just in the weeds with a full house on a Fri. Night. Will definitely be back and hopefully it will be better.“

“Wow! Very impressed with the protein menu. Wife and I ordered 3 items from the protein menu (We're pigs..we know.) and opted for the double meat for 50% more ($7). Got two with salad and one with rice. It was a great meal! Poke tuna was sushi quality goodness and so good, were it not for the aroma of the beef and the chicken bowls in our noses, we would have regretted not just sticking with tuna all..night..long! There is more to tell about the Valentine's Day experience, but you get the gist.“

“I had a group of 15 people for my husband’s 60th birthday. We had a private room, the staff friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious! The portions were huge, everyone took home leftovers, plenty of food for two meals. Very reasonably priced! Highly recommend.“

“I’ve been to a lot of New Milford’s restaurants but I have to say the service at The Abbey was exceptional and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Given how many eateries don’t survive over time; they are the model for a sustaining and thriving food service business. My wife had the Chicken Cordon Bleu, and I had the Chicken Caesar salad. Both were excellent and the portion size and portion per price was very good. Even the water tasted excellent. If I had one complaint it would be that the noise level was a little high, but it is a pub style restaurant where you can watch a game.“

“We met some friends here to watch football and grab something to eat. The food was really good. It was a little loud but of course it was football so that was okay. Our waitress was excellent. Great place to stop for a quick bite in Danbury.“
