“We hosted my daughter‘s bridal shower at J Law and it was everything we hoped for. Clara, Megan, and the entire team were attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the day. The private event space was ideal, spacious, welcoming, and flexible enough for us to personalize with our own decor. The food was delicious. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere made everyone feel at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another celebration. “The ratings here speak for themself. We were passing through Danbury and came across the Craft Kitchen+Bar, wow we had a great late afternoon dinner outside on their small parking side patio. The food was absolutely fantastic.

The Crispy Chicken Rice Bowl and the Farro Bowl were both outrageously good and filled with flavor. We got the Burrata salad for a shared app and that was fantastic as well. Even the ice tea was great! There are so many great looking items on the menu I would be back next time we are in the area.

The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! Our waiter was Alton, he did a wonderful job and always addressed my husband as Sir. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!“

“We did the Wednesday prix fixe menu and it was amazing. It truly felt to be like I was eating art. I don't know the name of the chef, but you can tell they are exceptional. The attention to detail in each dish made it obvious the chef is passionate about what they create. The flavors were unique, the atmosphere upscale yet comforting, and the service was lovely. “Just enjoyed a lovely pre thanksgiving dinner At Marigolds. The trout almondine was cooked to perfection as was the cod. A chef that can cook fish properly gets my vote every time. The sauces were light and tasty. Presentation was exceptional and service was great. Check it out.“

“To start with, I love the thick menu! I love that they give the back stories on the local products/farms they use. And the plethora of options make certain that both my husband and I can find something we like no matter what we're in the mood for. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has more than the same 6 things everybody else has and to know those items are made with locally sourced products. I can end with a cupcake made from scratch which also supports another small business instead of something premade from the same manufacturer everyone sources their desserts from. It's a win for me!“

“Although I'm giving it five stars, this is really a message of this disappointment and anger!

I won't ruin star status because of a situation, so for that I'm still going to get five stars throughout, but I called 10 times in a matter of 30 minutes. 16 of those minutes I was put on hold. So somebody answer the phone and then put me on hold for 16 minutes and nobody answered the phone back.

I'm only putting this out there because if this was anybody else they would have given them 1, 2, or 3 stars. It's one thing not to answer it's another thing to have me on hold for 16 minutes.

Other than that, the atmosphere inside is great, the food is great, and the service is great. Great food, but just really hurt on being put on hold for 16 minutes and nobody thought about coming back. I'm sure it's an accident, but just saying“

“R House in Ridgefield has become our favorite restaurant. They’ve been there for about a year now under new ownership and I can only say it’s always a perfect evening. Entering this beautiful place we’re greeted by 2 smiling hostesses who seat us (we prefer upstairs), very pleasant waitstaff, incredible food, and Reggie, the owner, with a welcoming smile and takes great care to make sure every diner has an incredible experience. The filet mignon and sashimi tuna are my faves and my husband loves their chicken dish and pasta. His fave dessert is the key lime pie. Reggie deserves the title of “restaurateur of the year” ( if there is such a thing) as he’s on top of everything that happens and does it with pride. Egin, Gerardo and Ken are all excellent waiters and have become our favorites as well. You will not be disappointed.“
