“Went on Friday night and enjoyed an amazing dinner. One of the friends with us is Vegan and it was so nice to have vegan options for her as well. Service was fantastic, never waited on anything. A special touch is the owner visits each table to ensure we are enjoying ourselves and the food. Totally recommend to anyone looking for a nice, cozy and quiet restaurant where you can actually have a conversation.“

“Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.“

“We have been to Uncommon many times and the food is always amazing and we have always had a great experience all around but I want to say we had the absolute best service here tonight so I wanted to thank our server Justin D. for an outstanding dining experience tonight. Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. The support staff also did an amazing job tonight as well keeping the table clear of empty glasses and dishes and running food. Just an over all lovely experience.“

“My wife and I stayed for a weekend in the camping cottage and had a wonderful experience. As a Litchfield County native, I had heard great things through the years and it did not disappoint. The grounds are beautiful, the spa was fantastic and the cottage itself was very cool and unique. Make sure you take advantage of the breakfast during your stay, as it is not to be missed.“

“We had lunch here for the first time on the 4th of July! This little place is so lovely and quiet. The service was very attentive. Everyone we encountered was great! The ambience was perfect— we sat outside overlooking the resort grounds and we even got a nice little walk in after our meal touring the property. Our meal was delicious, everything had the right amount of flavor and it was the perfect portion of food for us. We both ordered cocktails which were decorated with a fresh flower from the garden, a really nice touch! We definitely plan on coming back!“

“Stopped in on a whim. There were several CT brews on tap, always a good sign. Had the fish and chips (good) but the real standout was the flatbread with Alfredo, clams, bacon, and potatoes. Spouse called it a clam chowder flatbread, and it was amazing, creative and delicious. Loved the chalk drawings at the bar. We'll be back!“

“I went to Sol for the first time Friday evening. The shrimp ceviche was like a party in my mouth! It came with wonderful fried plantains that were perfectly crisp. The flavor was amazing! We got the Guac and chips for the table and the chips were served hot and crisp and the Guac was great. I ordered the chicken stir-fry as my entrée and the spices were perfect. If you are ordering from the full service menu plan to stay awhile and visit with you friends, maybe have a nice cocktail while you wait as many of the items are made from scratch and take awhile to prepare. It is worth the wait. They also have items like empanadas etc... that are ready to serve if you are in more of a hurry. Atmosphere is quaint and the servers are friendly too!“
