“This was my first time at Wentworth’s, and I’m so glad a friend recommended it—especially because they offer dog-friendly ice cream! It was my pup’s 8th birthday, and I couldn’t find a place that felt special enough until I heard about Wentworth’s. The team at the counter was amazing—so friendly, helpful, and genuinely excited when they heard it was her big day. My dog devoured her birthday treat (tail wags of approval!), and my mom and I were equally impressed. She had the chocolate chip raspberry and I had the peanut butter Oreo—both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, creamy, and just hit the spot. We left with full hearts and full stomachs. “They are awesome! There was a misunderstanding about a cake I wanted. I spoke with the owner Dyrak and he made the cake I wanted and delivered it to me! That's what I call customer service. “I recently tried the chicken parm grinder at Mad River Creamery & Deli, and it was a really solid choice. The chicken cutlet was nicely breaded, tender, and held up well under the sauce. The marinara was flavorful — tangy with a hint of sweetness — and there was a generous amount of melted cheese that pulled everything together. The bread was fresh and hearty with a nice toasted soft crunch to it , the kind of roll that didn’t get soggy after a few bites, which made the sandwich feel substantial but balanced. I liked that there was a good ratio of chicken to sauce to bread. Service was friendly and efficient, owner welcomed us and provided free ice cream samples as we waited for our grinders ( husband got the steak and cheese for his 3rd time ) being a deli, the portion felt more like a meal than a quick snack. The atmosphere at Mad River Creamery & Deli is welcoming — cozy and laid-back, perfect for grabbing a bit with a friend (or after getting some ice cream). Already know what I want when I return . “Prior reviews that said this is the best Mexican food on the East Coast aren't lying. Everything has so much flavor! We got the burritos de carnitas and al pastor and both were phenomenal. As were the homemade chips and salsa. And the guy at the counter was very kind. Definitely coming back here next time we're in the area!“
