“Fabulous food, wonderful atmosphere and great staff. Noise was a bit loud, but being in a booth made all the difference. Our waiter was great, but very busy and he had a lot of tables so it took awhile to order. He was great after that - very attentive and many other helpers. Our 3rd time there and definitely my favorite spot in New Haven!!!“

“Their ice cream is delicious, definitely worth a trip out. They also have delicious ice cream cakes. Be sure to provide a little lead time for a cake purchase, and they will have it ready to go for you. I like to order mine about a week ahead of time.“
“My wife and I took a private pottery throwing lesson with Emily. She inspired us to take a six week lesson followed by another six week lesson. We then became members. We love it there. What a wonderful pottery community! Thank you Jess!Side note: the paint-your-own is super popular there, as well as glass fusing, candles, and mosaics. It’s a great place to get together and drink some wine and be creative or bring the kids for a party!“

“Tried Addeo’s for the first time last night and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the food.Got a small size Margherita pie and a Meatlovers-type pie. It was the perfect amount for two people. “Our children love going to the farm for ice cream! You’ll find us here once a week during the summer and often during the fall for pumpkins and ice cream. I love the rotation of flavors all summer! The kids love seeing the cows too. Very tasty ice cream favors and love the cold brew milkshake too.“
“My first time having crumbl was breast cancer awareness week, and I drove an hour to try and support it was amazing and it’s a ritual to go to crumbl on the best weeks as often as I can, the atmosphere was great and they never disappointed me will continue to go!“

“I came here after lunch with my husband. It's a cute, quaint ice cream shop with a good selection of flavors to pick from. I decided to order a small cup of the Peanut Butter Caramel Cookie Dough - I loved the peanut butter and cookie dough flavors. I didn't think the texture was as creamy as my favorite ice cream shop in my town. Lastly, the menu looked a bit all over the place and confused me so I just stuck to looking at the flavors in the case.“
“UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. Very nice employees. The historic building is spacious and clean. The history of the building is fascinating. The ice cream is delicious. There are so many flavors and toppings to choose from and they were patient while my family made their choices. The freshmade waffle cone is a wise choice. They're amazing.“
“According to my boyfriend, they are a local favorite and have been for many decades. We've tried a few things and I do think they have really good vanilla ice cream but beyond that, the other flavors are pretty basic/standard. If you're looking for bold, fun, or unique flavors, then this is the wrong place to go. It's never to busy and service is quick and polite. Small place with a few seats outside if you can't make it back home to enjoy your dessert. Prices are a little high but reasonable.“
“We love Arethusa! Best ice cream in downtown New Haven - you need to try their seasonal flavors, especially the new hazelnut with chocolate espresso beans . The seasonal pumpkin flavor is also excellent, and the sweet cream flavor is also always a go-to. Pro-tip: You can get one scoop split into two flavors - just ask! I only wish that they were open later because sometimes I crave ice cream past 8 pm!“
“Such a good experience! I love ashleys its my favorite ice cream shop ever. And their black raspberry ice cream is unbelievable my favorite flavor ever. And I hate raspberries. They staff is decent they could be nicer is my only feedback. Sometimes they look like they hate their job. This location doesn't have outdoor seating just in case the one in branford does though! “I finally tried PopCentric and I will say it's in a little strip mall but I did drive by it 2x . But it's a small little place but huge variety of popsicle flavors from chocolate to mango raspberry lime creamsicle etc . They are a bit pricey but it's all natural fruit . It actually had fruit in them . Nice refreshing treat other than ice cream . Good luck to them the staff was very nice . Enjoy Chris M“
“Stopped by 1 afternoon for some traditional Mexican and this place did not disappoint. It is a mid size spot in the center of town in Wallingford. When you walk there are about 6 tables with the person taking orders by the register. The place is super casual and the girl working on the front super friendly. We had burritos and tostadas which were very good. The burrito which was what I had was super big and flavorful. Burritos are one of those meals that you can't go wrong with. The tostadas were what you would expect, crunchy with lots of toppings. Definitely a place to stop by while in Wallingford.“

I was able to get a sample of a vegan chocolate cookie which I’d never usually try on my own and been hooked ever since thank you. Always quick as well, and the location is great so many things to explore and experience but even better ending the night with freshly baked cookies from you guys.“
“The Yogurt Lane establishment as a whole, is one of the best restaurants I have ever had the honor of dining at. The frozen yogurt was astonishing and the Nutella- Banana smoothie was unique/exquisite as well. The worker there was just so kind and hard working, overall a really pleasurable experience!“
“Definitely had to try this (what appears to be) Cheshire institution. Our order did take a while to prepare but not an outrageous amount of time. To me, that's a good thing as you know it was being prepared to order. Food was good and nicely prepared. My wife had the "butch burger" and it did live up to the praise - very tasty and done as requested. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was done nicely with a tasty but not-too-hot buffalo sauce, lettuce, tomato and bleu cheese. Crinkle cut fries done nicely topped off our meal. Service was very friendly. Didn't get a chance to try the ice cream menu, but it did look yummy. I did like the fact that unlike many "roadside stands" I've found throughout CT (many of which don't have indoor seating areas), Rose Dairy had an outdoor seating area in a permanent open air covered structure. No "table umbrellas" to have to deal with. Good way to keep out of the sun on those hot summer days - and the ceiling fan in the outdoor area was a nice touch as well. I'd definitely give it a try if you're in the area (in-season, of course).“
“Sweet Claude's is a great ice cream spot in Cheshire! They recently moved from their location on Route 10 to a building on West Main St. (part of the Ball & Socket Arts building) and I visited them at their new location recently. While the inside looks different, they still have the same great homemade ice cream!I ordered the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup in a waffle cone and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The new location seems to have more parking than the old one, and more benches to sit.Make sure you add Sweet Claude's to the list for your CT ice cream tour this summer!“

“How can I begin this review? The staff at dairy Queen should have their own sitcom. They are so much fun but professional at the same time. I ordered the Cherry dip cone. The same kind of treat I used to get as a child. Actually, I felt like a child again. This smooth chocolate taste combined with cherry flavor was so good. As I said, the whole package is awesome. I think I'll call the manager or owner and tell them what a nice experience I had there.“

“So, we ordered a birthday cake for 20 people. My daughter picked up a 10" cake. I was concerned. I called the store. The manager got on the phone. He researched the issue. Told me it was their mistake. THEN HE PERSONALLY delivered a new cake to us at no charge. That manager will always get our business. I understand business can make mistakes. Be honest, own it, and you will be my vendor of choice for life“
“One of my favorite places to go where the customer service is one of the most consistent and best for fast food. Especially if their females serving you got the most time. If the males perform as good as the females and if I'd order a icecream and without the top it doesn't look like it's going to fall off the cup I'd give it a 5 star.“

“Whoever came in to friendlys today on 4/6/24 needs to go work in a restaurant you people are just rude. These servers are trying their best to get to each and everyone of you if you can’t understand or see that it is a full house don’t come on a saturday night when you see a full house of people and a full lot of cars. I was sitting near the door listening to a customer complain that they waited so long for their ask for the check the server brings it then they ask for ice cream while complaining how long they were waiting like they can’t see how busy it is. Next time don’t come and ruin someone’s day because you can’t grasp the fact that they are busy you people need to be more respectfully and aware. The servers did an awesome job they food was great, and my ice was great as well. The people at friendlys are very hard working and people need to start being more respectful or just don’t dine out i’m so tired of hearing people be blatantly disrespectful as if they ever worked in a restaurant a day in their life.“

“Clean and nice place to relax and enjoy a cup of frozen yogurt with a variety of toppings to your heart’s desire. Get your cup (it comes in different sizes) and put different flavors of frozen yogurt in it(I like mixing different flavors. It’s like an adventure ??) Then add your choice of toppings from gummy toppings to fresh fruits, nuts, popping fruit bobas and many more! Price depends on the weight of your cup. Such a delicious treat! Good customer service!“
“I enjoyed everything about Billy's Old Fashioned Ice Cream. My husband grew up in the area, this was my first time.The decor super cute with a working model train going around on the track.No one was yet at the ice cream counter but a nice girl / women came over right away we had no wait.Our order was two sundaes. My sundae was coffee carmel expresso with peanut sauce, whipped cream, cherry, and chocolate sprinkles. The 2nd sundae my husband's usual the classic vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and crushed oreos.One thing I noticed about Billy's that was done differently which I enjoyed our chosen sauces were through out our sundaes. Several places I have been to for ice cream the sauce is either just on top of the ice cream or over the whipped cream. Good technique Billy's.“
