“Their ice cream is delicious, definitely worth a trip out. They also have delicious ice cream cakes. Be sure to provide a little lead time for a cake purchase, and they will have it ready to go for you. I like to order mine about a week ahead of time.“
“I enjoyed everything about Billy's Old Fashioned Ice Cream. My husband grew up in the area, this was my first time. The decor super cute with a working model train going around on the track. No one was yet at the ice cream counter but a nice girl / women came over right away we had no wait. Our order was two sundaes. My sundae was coffee carmel expresso with peanut sauce, whipped cream, cherry, and chocolate sprinkles. The 2nd sundae my husband's usual the classic vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and crushed oreos. One thing I noticed about Billy's that was done differently which I enjoyed our chosen sauces were through out our sundaes. Several places I have been to for ice cream the sauce is either just on top of the ice cream or over the whipped cream. Good technique Billy's.“
“Pat has been making a most pleasurable ice cream experience ever since he came to town. This is hands down the best place around with the most quality driven aspects to the deserts served. From variety of flavors, to innovative ideas; all brought together with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. You should make it a priority to stop in! 10/10!“
“This location is easy to get to and located near several other restaurants. If you like great landscaping with relatively easy golf holes, this is your place. They've put a lot of money into wood structures, waterways, and maintaining the gardens. There's even a section with herbs! Many times, you can see actual frogs in the pond (not just the nearby statue). They gave a section for kids afterwards where you can play on a wooden train or pirate ship. There's a gazebo with a round table inside it. There's at least a half dozen picnicking tables up on a knoll. On site food is 3 choices: beer (sometimes with pizza) for the adults, an ice cream section, and a grille. At the grille, seating was nice, prices were low, and wind attempted to blow away our napkins. We came here midday on a September Saturday and the crowds were steady but not overwhelming. Since it was the end of the season, there are a few minor repairs needed. Worn out wood borders were the most common interference (twice). One other downfall is that the mini golf ($9/adult on weekends and weekday evenings) is cash only. Food takes credit. Not sure why they'd rather have you use an onsite ATM than just pay for all by credit in one spot.“
“This location is great. The girls working here are always friendly and quick at their job. We always come in to get the Sundae Dashers and the staff is NEVER stingy with the toppings. Dairy Queen needs to hire these girls to teach them how to make a damn sundae.Dietary restrictions: They just came out with Oatmilk ice cream, if anyone has a dietary restriction.“
“UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. Very nice employees. The historic building is spacious and clean. The history of the building is fascinating. The ice cream is delicious. There are so many flavors and toppings to choose from and they were patient while my family made their choices. The freshmade waffle cone is a wise choice. They're amazing.“
“I came here after lunch with my husband. It's a cute, quaint ice cream shop with a good selection of flavors to pick from. I decided to order a small cup of the Peanut Butter Caramel Cookie Dough - I loved the peanut butter and cookie dough flavors. I didn't think the texture was as creamy as my favorite ice cream shop in my town. Lastly, the menu looked a bit all over the place and confused me so I just stuck to looking at the flavors in the case.“
“Very clean, great service. The employees were wonderful and got us through our sundaes in no time. Everything tasted great, the restrooms were clean, seating was comfortable, and they have a deal on Wednesday or Tuesdays that can make some of their menu items a good deal when going as a pair, which is a good excuse to go out with a friend, loved one or date for a local bite to eat!“
“I finally tried PopCentric and I will say it's in a little strip mall but I did drive by it 2x . But it's a small little place but huge variety of popsicle flavors from chocolate to mango raspberry lime creamsicle etc . They are a bit pricey but it's all natural fruit . It actually had fruit in them . Nice refreshing treat other than ice cream . Good luck to them the staff was very nice . Enjoy Chris M“
“We stopped by today after a long walk- the arrangements were fantastic. The flavors are listed outside on an A frame sign, lots of clear, easy to read signs about how to order. Staff was super friendly and happy to help. The kids enjoyed the ice cream! :) Thank you guys! Nicely done! :)“
“The Big Dipper!! Currently reigns my favorite ice cream parlor in CT! This hidden gem is to die for! Their flavors are so intriguing and the thickness of the ice cream is perfection!! I love their classic chocolate and their chocolate mousse when they carry it!! I wish they were opened all year round! 4.9/5 stars for me!“
