“I just read a story about these people went to eat and witness something was so totally wrong . A trooper came into this restaurant and was refused service. All these was based on the owners feelings about the law enforcement. These men and women put thier life’s on the line to protect everyone including you Mr. Owner. This puts a bad taste in my mouth about the owner , not the restaurant. This owner has good people working for him and they do make good food. However I will never go to this restaurant ever again. All this happened two hours after the Bristol’s policeman was killed on duty.“

“I made a reservation here on a Saturday for a date night with my wife and we had a great time. The atmosphere was cool. The service and food were all very good. (We had Cuban Sliders, Calamari and loaded plantain nachos). It was nice to have a unique restaurant experience for a change. “This was our first time eating at Mancora and it was delicious. Our server, Julio, was great. When I asked for a sauce on my dish, he actually pointed out that they had a dish comprised of exactly what I wanted.

I had the pescado a lo macho and my husband had the pulpo. Both were fantastic - the fish was fried perfectly, the seafood in the sauce was cooked to perfection, and the octopus was so tender. We were too stuffed for dessert, but I’ll be back for an alfajor next time!“

“We had a reservation for 7 people. We showed up at the time expected and our table was waiting for us. We ordered a couple of small plates, salads, pizzas, beer, wine, soda. Everything was delicious, very tasty. It was a little busy so the waiter set our expectations early about wait time for pizza. Will definitely be back when in area.“

“Eclectic menu. While not extensive, there is variety with daily specials. We started with the dumplings and chili with beans. Dumplings and sauce for dipping quite flavorful in the best way. The chili was not too hot, and a hot sauce offered we we wanted more heat. The pasta and red was plentiful and delicious.“

It is a little on the small side for that, but they work hard to make it happen. The staff here does a good job.

“My wife, son, and I decided to try out Bella’s Ristorante for our first time this evening for dinner. It was absolutely an excellent experience with outstanding food. We started out with the calamari appetizer with marinara sauce. The calamari was very fresh and done to perfection. We also tried out their pasta fagioli soup. It was homemade and tasted just like Grandma used to make it! I asked the owner if the chef could prepare Shrimp Scampi. It was a very generous portion, and I told the owner that it was the best that I ever had. The broth was delicious! My wife absolutely enjoyed her chicken piccata. She was very pleased with the tenderness of the chicken and how it was prepared. My son ordered the “Chicken and Shrimp” special. He related that it was excellent. To finish our meal, we had tiramisu which we all really enjoyed.
This was our first time eating at Bella’s, and we all really enjoyed our meals. The food and service are exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant.

“My wife had the Prime Rib special and absolutely loved it. The portion was perfect and came with side salad as well as the potato and vegetables. I had wings and a garden salad and had half of both for lunch the next day. Prices for both meals was on point. We will definitely be back again soon.“

“My experience at the restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. I believe our servers name was Veronica, and she was wonderful and very attentive to us. We both customized our meals to some extent and everything came perfectly prepared and delicious. The server appeared at the table at just the right time and not too often so we had privacy, but always had excellent service. The view of course from this restaurant is just beautiful of the Connecticut river even in the winter. Martha's decorations are spectacular as always, and McKenzie Stevens pastries are absolutely beyond amazing. Thank you for a wonderful service and a wonderful experience!“
