It’s obvious that they take an unmatched pride in their work. The staff is always kind and attentive. Great place to stock up on fairly healthy food if you’re an active –on the go– person; saves the meal prep. “My golf stay cation, playing the four corners of the state, concluded today in Norwalk at Oak Hills Park. The course is in great shape and the foliage was still beautiful. Unfortunately for me, I scheduled my vacation the week they aerated the greens, so they were still sandy. Fortunately for me, my partner and I agreed that ALL second putts were good! The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was my honor to have been paired with Frank , who said he has played Oak Hills Park 300 times a year since he retired 20 years ago! Not only is he knowledgeable about the course and it's recent history, he is just a super nice man. Golf is a social sport, meant to share with friends. Frank and I shared some great conversation and he is living proof that you don't have to hit the ball a long way as long as you can consistently hit it down the middle! I am inspired!

“It was a Monday like a Sunday since it was a holiday. Quiet. I pass it every morning but never see a spot. Today easy peasy -there was no one on the road at 8:30 am. So I went in and did two things I would not ordinarily do. Ordered a delicious latte and a pastry!! The guy who took my order was sweet and had perfect recommendations. I wanted to sit inside but I didn’t want to be alone. I sat in my car and held the cup in my hands and inhaled the aroma while I thought to myself. Next time I’ll come with a friend. Next time I’ll let the Lorca feeling last a little longer. Next time.“

“I’ve found it. The best way to blow through a paycheck over a single breakfast. Espresso and a pastry for $15…. But, somehow, I think I’ll be coming back. Love the communal atmosphere with great big heavy wooden tables and chairs. A number of 4 and 6 tops as well. Bright and airy open feel make this a lovely warm atmosphere to share a delicious espresso and pastry. Espresso was quite tasty but unfortunately served in a tiny paper cup - I guess I should have specified I was eating in. Nice nuttiness and a subtle bitterness and right up my alley. There were so many amazing looking pastries on display i really struggled to decide how to put back on all of the calories I just lost on my Peloton but eventually landed on the Chocolate Chip Cookie Croissant. And - holy smokes - it did not disappoint. The thing must weigh 8 ounces due to it being stuffed with chocolate chip cookie dough and a plethora of incredibly delicious molten chocolate. Incredibly naughty and delicious. Great spot to stop in for a pastry but they also have a larger menu with salads and breakfast specialties in addition to their lovely baked goods. Unreal!!“

“There is no option like Salzburg in Stamford! An assortment of fresh foods prepared daily - the quality of the ingredients used is palpable in every bite. Some favorites are their chicken Cesar wrap, chicken dumplings, tuna salad, yogurt parfait and penne a la vodka! It’s hard not to come to this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

A big part of the experience is how professional and attentive the waitstaff is here. Besa and Gerta are so welcoming and hospitable, run a tight ship, and always make it a point to ensure I’m 100% in love with my order(s). If you’re looking for a consistent 10/10 eatery, Salzburg is it!“

“Came here back in December. Loved it! Room was very nice with a nice view of the atrium. The atrium is awesome! Makes you feel like you’re in California or Florida! I do wish the restaurant and gazebo bar were open. But the food we got from room service was really good and were still able to eat in the atrium. But you should definitely consider re-opening the restaurant and gazebo bar, why haven’t you re-opened it since COVID? The indoor pool is really nice with a hot tub! Overall, love this place and still would come back again even though the restaurant and gazebo bar are closed because it’s so nice!“
