“We stopped here during a road trip and it was so delicious! Their lunch specials are amazing - we enjoyed special rolls and classic rolls. I loved the spicy yellowtail roll. Our daughter had her favorite pan fried gyoza here and they gave her chopsticks for kids and a lollipop after the meal. It was a beautiful restaurant and very family friendly. The service was excellent and the sushi was fantastic - we’ll definitely stop during our next road trip! Thank you for a delicious meal.“

“Kazu is the place to go for Sushi and Japanese cuisine in the Norwalk area. The fish is high quality and the staff and sushi chefs are top notch. The staff is super friendly and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Don't overlook the bar either! “Every holiday I place my fish order here. Always fresh, always easy pick-up. This year I somehow ordered the pre-cooked octopus instead of cooking it myself. My very particular family members said it was the best they've ever had, at home or in a restaurant. The highest praise! I would definitely recommend Greenwich Fish. Co. “Kotobuki is an authentic Japanese restaurant with excellent food and service. The head chef is the owner -- Masanori Sato, who goes informally by the moniker "Masa." Masa is always busy, behind the such bar, creating his excellent delicacies. My favorite is the sushi and sushi rolls -- always fresh and delicious. In addition to the traditional rolls, there are some wonderful in-house creations such as the Spicy Betty Roll, Lobster Roll (my wife's favorite), and my favorite, the Kevin Roll. The latter, in deference to the national color of Ireland, is spicy tuna wrapped in slices of tuna, fried, and covered with avocado (green, of course). The setting is not overdone, to say the least, but is very basic -- a variety of wooden tables surrounded by walls enhanced with various pieces of art appropriate to the cuisine and culture. The tables are separated by cloth partitions highlighting Japanese scenery. The table service is excellent, the staff is very accommodating, and shout-outs are certainly appropriate for Mr. Sato's wife (head waitress) and Jenny (one of the welcoming waitresses). Moreover, the dining room is very quiet, conducive to conversing with cohorts without the need to raise one's voice. It should be mentioned that Kotobuki remained open during the pandemic, serving both take-out meals AND in-house specialties.“

“Our family has been a patron of Gogi Korean Steakhouse (formerly Wafu) since inception in 2019. We have dined there at least 25 times in the period 2019-2023. (Wafu/Westport opened in 2019 and was owned by the 4 founders of "Tuck Gin" + Simon & Elaine Chen of Westport. The quality of food went down during Covid. In 2022, Wafu/Westport closed temporarily. The restaurant was re-opened later in 2022, this time with Simon & Elaine Chen as owners and managers. Oh, what a difference the change in ownership brought about!) GOGI LOREAN STEAKHOUSE IS SIMPLY WONDERFUL! Simon & Elaine refined the menu, keeping what were originally the best selections and making them even better. Our family favorites (which we order almost every visit, while trying other dishes for comparison) include: * Seafood Pancake (crispy to perfection and stuffed with a variety of seafoods) * Bulgogi (entree sauteed to tender perfection at the table - ask for marinated) * Pork Belly (a close second favorite entree, prepared same as the Bulgogi) Simon personally visits and/or serves each table, making sure everything meets the customers' expectations. Henry seems to get a lot of reviews complaining about his service, calling him aggressive or rude. This is simply not the case- it is a difference in culture and dialect that is misinterpreted. Henry know every regular he has and treats them like friends! If you expect someone to wait on you hand and foot... this is not the spot. If you want high quality, well priced, sushi then Little Tokyo is the place to go.“

“The food is wonderful , the atmosphere is great and cozy ! BUT the service sucks! We were there 10 minutes and I had to go to the bar just to get a couple of glasses of water . The sticky ribs were one of the best things I ever put into my mouth, along with the crunchy rice waygu they have on the menu. Miso soup, truffled eggs, and the HUGE bento box were on point. The desserts were phenomenal, don’t sleep on those matcha Kit Kats! I despite matcha and you can’t taste any of the match (which was a plus for me, maybe not for others).
