“So on my way home and I’m starving but I’m in Durham and it’s almost 9:00 pm so I pull into Carmines and the guys r outside. I walk up and they say r u picking up and I’m like no I wanted one of the frozen pies in the case. Sorry register is all closed. Ok thanks anyway I said and one of the chefs hands me one of his pies and says enjoy. Love you guys at Carmines.“

“We did some shopping then we're going to check out the Duham Fair. but we were late and didn't want to take the bus ride for 30 minutes left of the Fair. so we looked for somewhere to eat. what luck! We had a fabulous experience! A couple great drinks. Some delicious garlic bread. Then dinner came. my eggplant rolatini was amazing! my wife dish was as well. we had the pistachio Gelato for dessert. and I had a delicious espresso. The service? it was a delight! “This was the first time that myself and my family decided to go to Violis. We had family visiting from Italy and it was very difficult to find a restaurant open on a Monday in my area. It's always a challenge when you find a new place cuz you have no idea how the food is going to be. To our surprise, everything was fantastic! From the servers to the person filling our Waters every time our Waters were empty. And most importantly the food was exceptional. We will be going back there soon and I highly recommend anybody who's interested in going do so.“

“Stopped by on my way to NY tried a GoodToGo order, I will I was surprised by the quantity of donuts. Unfortunately and I don't want to be harsh as GoodToGo is used to stop food from going to waste, but these donuts were really stale and just barely edible. Which surprised me because the donuts given to me came straight from what was on the shelves for the day, I got there around 3:30 and they closed at 8 according to Google. If you do try them maybe try to get them as they open and are fresh. The donuts with cereal with the easiest to eat for some reason but the rest were just dry, stale to the point that it was hard to try and finish. On positive note if you looking to get 10 donuts for $7~ check this place out on the GoodToGo app.“

The staff were so accommodating when we realized we hadn’t counted ourselves (the bride and groom) in the guest count and needed 2 more seats, quickly making the adjustments to the tables and to the food. They were able to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions, as well as providing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to everyone. “We've been going to this place for more than 10 years. When ever we want good pizza, this is the place. We always get the plain thin crust (its incredible!!!).
This time we ordered something more adventurous, and got Tri colore pizza. It was really good , but not for the people who dont like spinach. It had too much for my personal taste. Their stake and cheese sandwich is soo awesome.

“My husband and I ordered a pizza to go from Carini’s for the first time under their new management. We ordered the Smog pizza. It had sausage, mushrooms, peppers and onions as toppings. The pizza was absolutely delicious! It had just the right amount of mozzarella. The sausage was so tasty and the mushrooms, onions, and peppers were fresh and cooked perfectly. Having grown up in New Haven, I loved that the crust was on the thinner side. I highly recommend Carini’s! We look forward to ordering more pizza or stopping in for dinner some night!“
