“This is the best food in East Hampton CT by far. They have the absolute best dumplings in Connecticut. The servers are always friendly and the restaurant provides a very nice vibe. The addition of the outdoor seating is amazing for the summer.“

They're the lesser priced of all in the area and allow for customization. They are doing a great job and deserve this good review. I never hesitate to order from them over and over again. “I have only had take out, but ordering on line is super easy. This Chinese food restaurant allows you to select whatever type of fried rice or lo Mein you want in a combination dinner. That is an awesome option. You can also add egg. (For a slight up-charge) to your rice which is a delicious option too.The crab Rangoons are delicious and you get way more in an order than other Chinese restaurants in town.Parking: Parking is available right beside the building.“

“Excellent value, other restaurants in the area charge the same if not more for sub-par quality. A good bellwether I find is crab Rangoon. Theirs is seemingly fresh and not frozen. Always fast and friendly service, I only wish they’d reopen the dining room. Otherwise, the best option in this part of town for quality affordable takeout of any kind.“

“My go to here is the chicken lo mein and the general Tao chicken!! Always very good although sometimes the pork fried rice can be dry but nothing some soy sauce can’t fix!!! The food is always ready in a reasonable amount of time after calling.“

The people there are super friendly and they are really accommodating for food preferences. I like to adjust certain dishes as I'm a picky eater and it's always great. “I moved to Middletown from Massachusetts 2 years ago. We got take out for the first time from China City tonight. I have yet to get anything that is even remotely close to good Chinese food here as of yet. I will NEVER order Chinese food again...unless it's from China City. This was easily top 3 best Chinese food we have ever had. Pork fried rice, White rice, Chicken fingers and fries. Very minimal grease. Flavor was excellent. Price it suitable.Oh, I should mention that when my wife picked the food up the staff was VERY friendly.A fantastic dining experience, thank you China City.“

“We order here once a week. Our orders are consistently hot, fresh and tasty. My husband orders general Tso, which he loves. They offer different levels of "spiciness", which is great cuz he shares with our toddler. I always get the steamed dumplings as a starter. They're always perfectly made, and the dipping sauce is sweet and salty, just as it should be. We've also tried shrimp with veggies, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken lo mein. Never any complaints, even from our older kids lol. This place is just a reliable go-to for classic Chinese food that never lets us down...“

“Wow. Best Chinese Ive had in awhile!! My coworkers and I got lunch here - boneless spare ribs, egg roll, chicken & broccoli, egg drop soup. The sauce on the chix & broc and ribs were 11/10. Price was super affordable. Meals came with fried rice & egg roll. Very generous portions. The resturant needs some desperate renovations inside, the interior is not pleasant at all. At the end of the day, we came for the food & will stay for the flavor!“
