“We had a wonderful lunch recently at Cafe Flo! It was very crowded when we were there, but our server Paloma was so welcoming and attentive, and made our experience extra special. We also noticed her and other staff staying calm and collected when having to deal with some not-so-nice customers at a neighboring table.
Food was fresh and delicious, and of course you can not beat the view of the river. Our only suggestion is to add some background music on the patio, as it would add to the beautiful setting. We look forward to returning next year when we are in the area.“

The event manager Brian was incredibly attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of, ensuring our day went smoothly. The food was fantastic and we received rave reviews from our guests. The team went above and beyond by setting up our decorations exactly as we envisioned, making the space look beautiful. They were also very accommodating and willing to work with us in case we needed to move our outdoor ceremony indoors, as well. Chicken was perfectly cooked, not dry, with appropriate proportions of cheese/ham. Service was extraordinarily friendly. Topped it off with a nice Port wine and they had a decent selection available. “Great little place with really good food. If you enjoy real food you'll probably like this place. I had a feeling they were going to be special when I saw that french fries were not an option. I opted for turnips and baked beans with my ribs. Also got the Thanksgiving sandwich. I'm so glad I found this place so close to home and will definitely return.“

“Great place for breakfast, whether you carry away or eat it there. They open at 6:30 a.m., and prepare the food super fast. The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic, with fresh ingredients including buttery brioche rolls if you want to indulge.

“Black point pizza is always my go to when I want an absolutely amazing pizza. for me I have the cooks keep it in the oven a bit longer so it stands up when you pick it up to eat. the sauce is to die for also. if you like your pizza a little more firm just ask and the cooks are happy to make your food exactly as you like. minor the owner is a stand up guy and really did good with this recipe. the salads and his homemade balsamic dressing is the best I've had from anywhere. if you have not come out to black point you are really missing out. “The food is really good for bar food. The wings, egg rolls and nachos are the best. The service is exceptional. Kaitlyn is amazing. We have been going for quite awhile now and have developed a friendship with her she is absolutely the best. When you go ask for her you won’t be disappointed. She is so friendly.

“We stopped in for a late breakfast at Bobby’s Burger Palace, owned by Bobby Flay, at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino. It was very good. At first sight my burrito didn’t look like much laying dry on the plate, but when I opened it up I could see it was full of nice ingredients. It tasted great! And my hubs got the steel cut part and loved them. They had a little sweetness to them and just the right amount of cinnamon, cranberry and yogurt. I tasted it and really like it too. We would definitely go back here again. I also love Illy coffee so bonus! :)“
