“New London Native. Perchance, I went in today. Beautiful place. Good food. Great service. The owner talked with us directly at the end. Glad I came.Dietary restrictions: Looking for more places to bring my son. He has celiac. Celiac is also about cross-contamination as well as gluten free.“
“This is a treasure. We were in Groton for a few days for work and I had to see this bar in an old Quonset hut. It is nicely renovated with a tiny kitchen at the end of the bar. This reminded me of little bars I used to go to in South Korea so I liked the place immediately. Then a few minutes after we sat down the bartender put upside cups in front of us to indicate we had free drinks when we were ready. Hank had bought a round for the house :-) We couldn't stay for long, but I immediately felt welcome here and will come back as soon as I can!“
“This place is a true old school bar, and a staple of the New London local crowd. I bet more than 50% of the people in this bar at any one time graduated high school in New London and still lives in this town. It's a good place for sports and they do have great food good drinks.“

“The Dutch is a awesome hole in the wall. You would never know this place was here. The place is no bigger than my living room. Great crowd of people and nothing is over 5 bucks on the menu, you can not beat that. If you are in the area you definitely want to give this place a shot.“
“Found this place by accident while waiting for a train, and what a jewel of a find it is. We got there right after it opened and it was quiet, but quickly a few regulars showed up and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. The bartender was nice, funny, and made us feel as welcome as the regulars at the bar too. The decor and just overall vibe was stellar. I can only imagine how great it would be during peak hours with more people and live music. It is on the smaller side, so I can imagine it gets crowded, but that's half the charm of a hole-in-the-wall spot like this“
“Love this "Dive Bar" it plays great country music, has the coldest beer in CT. The bartenders are extremely friendly, prices are awesome. They have music Fri/Sat/Sundays...call ahead to confirm. The owners are awesome, and the clientele is always friendly...I drove 20 miles to have a cold beer...it's that great place to just hang!!! Pool table a plus!“

“Excellent food! Guacamole is definitely recommended! Authentic street tacos never disappoint. Staff is friendly. The place is small, but clean. The only reason for four stars- they were out of limes. That meant no margarita to go with my food, but they did have a nice beer selection, so it was still a lovely time. Must visit if you are looking for real Mexican food!“

“My fiancé and I just left the restaurant and couldn't say better things about this place - perfect outdoor patio for a summer evening and delicious food and drinks. We both had margaritas which came out delicious - then my fiancé had the meatballs (delish!) and I had the baked scallops. Both meals hit the spot and had wonderful service. Would go back again the next time we're in Old Saybrook!“

“This is a fun, old fashioned, down to earth bar, which is becoming rarer these days. They have country dancing lessons, pool, and dart boards. The food is simple bar food which is a fun guilty pleasure once in a while. The bartenders are really nice and as well as the people who go there.“

“First time here because no Chinese food on Sunday noon in Mohegan Sun and I really wanted some dim sum & tea for the morning after I finished a show on Saturday night there. Pretty decent Canton cuisine. There are some articles about the history of the founder/chef/owner of the restaurant that interests me very much (see pictures). Definitely will go again next time in CT.“
“This is by far one of my favorite bars to come do Karaoke. Ming the bartender is great with guests and pours a great drink. And DJ Gary on the weekends is a wonderful entertainment host. An incredible place, look forward to when I can come back.“

“My significant other and I were heading home to Westbrook and stopped for dinner here. I remember it as Constantine’s. We met the owner Chris and were so captivated by his personality. The food was great. One special was clam chowder with clam cakes, great combo. I could go on, but one thing you should know is that the staff is also fabulous. I recommend this place for food, sevice and atmosphere. I hear they have a lotHappening this spring with lobster, lobster, lobster. Stay tune.“
