“My husband and dined here for the first time last evening. We both savored the experience. From the moment you walk in the door, you know that you are in for something unique. The cocktails, especially the white Negroni, were excellent. The food was top tier. I had one bite of my husband’s halibut and fell in love. I opted for several starters. Oh! To be a mussel luxuriating in that broth! Ceviche portion was HUGE and clean and fresh, lobster risotto was so creamy and warm. I wanted the entire dessert menu, but selected the frozen soufflé, which was light and dreamy. An night out like no other! Thank you chefs!“

“I celebrated my birthday at the Seal tonight. We haven't been in a while. I had the Short Rib Ravioli, Mom had the Serloin Steak, my wife had Tuna and our son a grilled cheese. Everything was delicious! Our server said she was new, but did a great job. We finished with warm Carmel apple pie! It was the perfect ending to a great night!“

“Absolutely delicious food, ready in much less time than I expected, and had food that I could safely eat with a cow milk allergy, and didn't blink for a sec at us masking. If timing on our trip had worked out we would've absolutely come back and gotten more of the delicious dumplings.

“I'll start by saying I love Indian food and I have been to a lot of Indian restaurants, so when I say this place is the best, I mean it! This restaurant is a small, mom and pop type place and the owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She even offered to make us a vegan dessert on the house! She does everything herself, including taking orders and cooking. Everything is made to order, from scratch, and she takes great pride in that! As a result, everything is absolutely delicious! This restaurant is exclusively vegetarian, but the owner is very knowledgeable about veganism and most dishes can be easily made vegan. I ordered the onion pakoras as an appetizer and they were deliciously flavourful and crispy, but not greasy at all. For my main dish I ordered the chole puri. This might be my favorite meal ever! It is essentially chana masala, but comes with puri (puffed flatbreads), which are so tender and delicious and perfect for scooping the curry! We also got aloo paratha (flatbread stuffed with spiced potatoes) on the side and it was equally tender and delicious. The owner made sure to inform me that it was all vegan and even told me what specific substitutions she made to make it vegan, like using almond milk in the curry instead of cream. This place is almost an hour from my house, but I will make a special trip to come back here for the amazing food and service from this incredibly kind and accommodating woman who takes so much pride in what she does.“

“We visited to celebrate my birthday and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our hostess was fantastic—friendly, kind, and knowledgeable—making me feel celebrated without being over the top. She never rushed us and was so helpful throughout. The food was the real star though; every bite of the pasta tasted like Italy, fresh and perfectly cooked. A truly memorable meal!“

“We go to Chamard two or three times a year, either for dinner or lunch. It has always been a good experience. Generally not very crowded, service is prompt but not hurried in any way, food is good. Early evening, with the sun setting over the vineyard is pretty and relaxing.“

“This is a nice restaurant but we would put it in the great category. We started with tasty cocktails. We shared an endive salad with apples and gorgonzola which was delicious. We then shared a calamari which was good but a little too breaded. The duck entree was a little fatty and had a strange tartine accompaniment but the grilled trout was excellent. Our server was very attentive but the atmosphere was nothing special. We would definitely return but would order differently.“

A Line was waiting outside but there was a couple of spots available at the Counter . Great bunch working there and used to handling crowds . Three Cooks doing their job right in front of you and 2 Waitresses taking care of Counter and Tables . We had Corn beef hash and eggs which were great . You have to try this place . Something about their pizza does it for me, favorite style, super well done for that particular style, and it’s relatively affordable.I also love their subs, all of them. I was concerned because it was a Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. and I just knew it would be busy and we may not get seated right away; we were seated as soon as we walked in.

Our server was very attentive.

When going to most breakfast places for a first time especially, I always go for my go-to, which is the eggs benedict.

To be honest when my eggs benedict and home fries arrived, the holidays looked a bit different than I am used to at most places and I was unsure about how it would be, taste-wise.
I really enjoyed it and I ate every bite. I always get my English muffins toasted extra for that crunch and so they don't end up too soggy.
Perfect amount of Hollandaise and the home fries were good as well.

Tasty coffee, which matters because you would be surprised or not, that a lot of breakfast places don't serve super good coffee. ?

“I have been going here for at least 11 years. The food never disappoints. I love the daily specials and holiday special orders. Fresh and delicious. The bakery is excellent, the cookies are irresistible. Quaint gourmet sandwich, coffee, and gift shop in downtown Chester. Highly recommend, outdoor seating. Always friendly service.“

These must be people that can only accept 5 star service, and everything else is 1 star. I understand some of the things you complained about, and maybe you did have a valid point, but 1 star, and to imply that the waitress was suffering from dementia, come on, grow up. If you made reasonable criticisms, and rated fairly, people would take you seriously, but you just make yourselves look mean and vindictive. All over an undercooked omelette, etc.“

Pad Thai was wonderful. Spring rolls were fantastic, the pho was a large size enough for the 3 of us. The honey roasted pork was great , and my green curry was amazing too. Nice and spicy . Staff was so sweet First time there and it was wonderful. Will definitely be back with family next time . Lovely little place with a homey atmosphere. Beautiful decor. More places need to be like this!!“
