“I celebrated my birthday at the Seal tonight. We haven't been in a while. I had the Short Rib Ravioli, Mom had the Serloin Steak, my wife had Tuna and our son a grilled cheese. Everything was delicious! Our server said she was new, but did a great job. We finished with warm Carmel apple pie! It was the perfect ending to a great night!“

“Absolutely delicious food, ready in much less time than I expected, and had food that I could safely eat with a cow milk allergy, and didn't blink for a sec at us masking. If timing on our trip had worked out we would've absolutely come back and gotten more of the delicious dumplings.

“We visited last night for the first time since it was Oliver‘s Tavern years ago. We were so impressed from the moment we walked in the door. We opted to go upstairs to the beautiful bar area for appetizers and happy hour drink specials. The food was phenomenal (we had incredible nachos, which were loaded with beef and the fantastic, huge warm pretzel with cheese sauce) and the service was phenomenal as well! Every server and staff member was so attentive and super friendly ! Server was excellent explained the menu clearly and we decided to have a spinach omelet delicious , home fries were fantastic. Portions were large.i had steak and eggs Steak was cooked just like I ordered ! Biggest problem was which homemade muffins to take with us to hotel. They all looked delicious and they were. “Otter Cove Restaurant is one of our go to restaurants here in town. The atmosphere is really really nice with a large dining area or a smaller more intimate bar area. And it is spotless!!!! The staff is professional and friendly*****
The food is excellent. Great choices and fairly reasonable for our taste. I often get the OC salad with a side of chicken or shrimp. One of my fav salads by far- just a great combination of apples, salad, etc. it’s large so I always bring half home. My husband goes for the salmon with their sides- always plenty of food.

“This place is one of the best restaurants in Westbrook and we can see why. They have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, the staff is friendly and the food is superb. I had the crepes with mixed berries, caramelized apples and cream cheese with a fruit compote and whipped cream on top. Also got a side of a generous portion of bacon (4 slices). My husband got a savory crepe - smoked salmon and scrambled eggs - also delicious. They have outdoor seating, which was packed when we came but we had out choice of indoor tables. The many turtle statues on the window sills were fun to look at. We will go here again for breakfast on our way out of town - it was that good.“

Tge steak is always perfectly cooked, the salads have clean crisps dressings and the vegetables are nicely presented. I have two things that bug me every time. One, I wish they would improve the decor in the dining room. It is so plain and almost Russian at this point. Second, some of the servers are inexperienced and they reach across you and interrupt you to clear the table at the end of the meal (we were about to leave.)“

“Hungry after a few hours at Gillette Castle, we were looking for lunch/dinner. We had a wonderful experience at Pattaconk! Our waitress was friendly and attentive to my dietary needs (Celiac’s). We had a burger, quesadilla & Nashville chicken stripes. My burger had a gf bun & was delicious, husb & daughter loved the stripes & quesadilla. “We found another one of the Greats today! Grand Apizza started off in the 1950’s and was in New Haven for 50 years! Then the dad, Fred Nuzzo sold the building and moved to Clinton. The same pizza and they opened 3 restaurants, Clinton, Guilford and Madison. The dad went to Clinton and so did we. Let me just say… the pizza is so good! The sauce is top 5. Endless crispy crust perfectly made… and tasty saucy sauce. The garden pie was also quite special with just the right amount of tangy balsamic vinegar! I was super happy to meet Fred’s son, Mike. You can tell he is very humble and proud of their amazing piece of pizza history. Legendary pizza today. 9.7 solid score for the cheese. The tomato pie was a 10. Perfect 10. It’s something that can only be experienced verses spoken about. The garden veggie was an 8.3.
