“Best jerk chicken in town. The food is very delicious and flavorful. The patties taste the same way as in Jamaica. 🇯🇲 everything is fresh and made the same day. Im definitely satisfied with everything. Plus this is coming from a true Jamaican that knows what real Jamaican food tastes like.“

“It’s my go to spot. Grill master is on point, grilling street side. Jerk pork to die for. Tastiest Jamaican food in Bridgeport area. Great staff. 5 ⭐️“
“Honestly the women who I assume owns it sense she’s always there, might be the most wholesome pleasant person I’ve met. Quick to draw you in with conversations and home vibe she puts into her restaurant. You can taste the pride in the food. Eye popping proportions too. Love this place“

“I am a Hartford Native and I don’t really see restaurants like these often. So when I saw this restaurant in Bridgeport, I thought I had to try authentic Caribbean Jamaican food for the first time and see what the hype was all about! I had the jerk chicken dinner along with a beef patty.
The beef patty was a 10 out of 10 – perfectly seasoned, flaky, and fresh. I would definitely recommend it, especially at its price point. The jerk chicken, served with cabbage and rice with beans, was quite flavorful, but be prepared for the spiciness! I asked for sauce, and it was a lot spicier than I expected. While I enjoyed it, it was a bit too spicy for me to handle comfortably.
The price point is really good – I paid $20 for everything, including a drink. The whole environment is very good as well. The restaurant is very well decorated with paintings and murals on the walls, which adds to the overall experience.
Overall, I wouldn't say I loved it, but I did really like it and think it's worth trying if you've never had Caribbean Jamaican food before.“

“I love their Fried chicken every single time I go I get fried chicken with oxtail gravy! When I have events I order their fried chicken as well that’s how much I love it! I can’t speak for anything else but they’re fried chicken, it’s consistently juicy and not dry each time I’ve gone so I stick to it! And their rice is so airy and fluffy, not sure how they do it, but it’s good!“

“Had the jerk chicken, rice & peas, fried plantains smothered with delicious brown sauce - it was all amazing, the jerk chicken was succulent and flavored perfectly, nicely spiced. Everything else was amazing too. A large fed two people without a problem. Cheap, fast AND good - one of the only situations in life where you don't have to pick two ?“
