“Amazing Thai restaurant in the area! The service was very friendly and welcoming. We tried the Thai Pao Coconut Chicken, the coconut soup, and the eggplant dish — all were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The presentation of the plates was also beautiful. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere, and the decorations with plants make it feel cozy and inviting. Definitely a place I recommend and will be coming back to!“

“have been to Brinx twice. Both times I had the everything bagel with cheese, egg and bacon. The bagel is slightly toasted and is both soft and tasty. They give plenty of cheese and plenty of bacon for the very reasonable price of $7.00, which is unmatched anywhere. The young man who serves is friendly and pleasant. The place looks a bit dusty but the tables are clean and the coffee is very good. I highly recommend this place.“

“I'm a Field Tech from Western MA. A friend of mine took me to Jimmy's 45 years ago. Torrington is a ways to go, but I take jobs there just so I can go to Jimmy's. In 45 years little has changed, especially the quality of the prepared foods. I was raised on Italian food, and this is as good as it gets. I have a job in Torrington tomorrow. See you for lunch, and get something special for Sunday dinner. And the staff there is a joy as well.“

“First time I’ve been here. Most everything was excellent. Amongst things I had was a hibachi combo with broccoli. The sauce was a little “too much” in terms of thickness/sweetness/quantity, but not bad. I requested the broccoli to be cooked soft and it came out excellent ! (Thanks)

“I can honestly say, I’ve been waiting a long time to visit The Bakehouse and I finally made it. What a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked bread and sweet treats.

First, the breads…The variety is incredible. Each loaf is baked to perfection—crusty on the outside and soft on the inside.

Now, let’s talk about the desserts! They are nothing short of spectacular. I had the brownies and the seasonal pumpkin cookie with white chocolate chips! Did I forget get to mention the decadent chocolate cake I ordered for my son’s birthday! OMG…I could go on and on!

The staff is super friendly which makes this spot a definite repeat visit!

She makes the croissants and English muffin bread from scratch, and uses the thickest bacon around on her sandwiches. “We had the most wonderful experience at Saltwater Grille on Saturday night! After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“

“The lobster rolls are the best in northwest CT. The shrimp and grits are likely the top 5 I have ever had. Burgers are cooked to your preference. Dry rub wings are delish! Well crafted cocktails that hit the spot. The staff is lovely and attentive. Sunday live music brunch. Thursday nights are raw bar and a great happy hour til 6pm. Always a fun time with great food!“
