“Not impressed at all. I was so excited to have an isreali style falafel in ct. Traditionally isreali falafel sandwhiches have salad, pickles, falafel and tehina. It was dry with only diced tomatoes and falafel balls in a pita pocket. I don't get it.Update: The owner called back, apologized and refunded me! Thank you!!!“
“LOVE Rawa! Consistently good food, service, and atmosphere. The service is excellent and attentive. They brought a dessert on the house for a birthday guest. The food is very reasonably priced. The sampler platter of dips is fantastic. Creative bar menu with a great selection of beers. Our go-to place in New Haven especially for concerts at Westville Music Bowl.“
“Had an amazing time at this Middle Eastern spot with my family. From the get-go, the vibe was cozy, and the staff made us feel super welcome. We dove right into some hummus and warm pita that was just out of this world. I went for the chicken pies and cheese pies as well and they were really good. and let me tell you, it was melt-in-your-mouth good. Everything tasted authentic and you could tell they really care about the details. The live music was a sweet touch, too really set the mood. It felt like a mini getaway in the middle of our busy city. The crew here knows their stuff and gave us great recommendations. If you're looking to try something new or just in the mood for some solid Middle Eastern eats, this place won't disappoint. Definitely coming back!“
“We were in front of the hotel and decided to try it. The food was good. The bagels are homemade and very delicious. Benedicts great too.The format is a bit strange: The drinks and desserts are brought by one person and the food by another, like two companies in the same place. In the end, you end up paying two different bills. Curious.“
“I had a really great experience in Mamoun's last night. First, the waitress was superb! She recommended some of her favorite dishes. We ordered about 6 different items (including those recommended by the wait staff) and everything was excellent! I was shocked at how inexpensive the entire order was. The atmosphere was cozy. I really wanted to share about something that happened while we were there. A homeless man came in asking people for money. The owner immediately offered to feed him! The owner also made sure that the guests were ok after the interruption. The owner was so compassionate and had a gift at making everyone comfortable. He acted with true humility and it was heart warming to see that in action.“

But good food just the same..Yeah I'm going back again and “
