“I work in downtown Hartford and eat at Le Petit at least 2x a week. The restaurant may be a little hole in the wall, and not much to look at, but the food is AMAZING. My favorite is the California Chef Salad - all the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The roasted chicken breast is nearly always cooked perfectly and is generously added to the salad. The vinaigrette dressing is delicious. Don't miss grabbing a piece of freshly baked bread by the register - they bake it there each day. They also have daily special "dinners" - I rarely miss the Salmon on Fridays. The fresh turkey sandwiches are delicious - but get there early because they only roast one turkey a day and once it's gone it's gone. The best part is that you can't beat the prices for what you get. It is cash only which helps keep the prices down, but getting such a generous salad or salmon dinner with sides for under $10 is awesome.“

“One of the best food places in west Hartford. Truly impressed with the chef’s talent. The flatbread was phenomenal- we got the wild mushroom which is drizzled in truffle dressing. An absolute must try, one of the best flatbreads I’ve had. The couscous is a staple and delicious but the prize went to the duck confit and wild mushroom ravioli. So much flavor, and the ingredients compliment each other very well in this dish. The only somewhat down side is that it is a smaller space, so you may require a reservation“

“Great wait staff! Pros- Service was excellent! Many of food items were delicious- puff pastry, pate, panzanella salad, halibut, scallops, crème brûlée, chocolate mousse. Cons- tried to seat us at back table next to restrooms (common experience for older women); we asked for window seating and they accommodated. “Hamachi Crudo-Thai basil, peanut, strawberry”was over-sauced, sauce was heavy, had many jalapeños!; all disguised delicate flavor of fish.“

“You feel special the moment you walk in and are treated with care. Unlike some places, on20 is not pretentious and stuffy. I asked many questions and my server was happy to explain. Not over crowded like some places, quite an intimate dining experience. Loved the complimentary amuse-bouche and mini desserts. Free parking validation--a real perk too! The cheese platter was the tastiest I have ever had. Best drinks in town thanks to the bartender, Jeff, who is also very nice and knowledgeable. This is a special place I can't wait to get back to.“
