Japanese Restaurants near Hartford

“I have been to this restaurant soo many times i cant count them on my fingers. This restaurant has been an eye opener for delicious korean food and has set a standard for what to expect from other businesses.

Over the course of 15 years i have had everything on the menu and i can attest that this is some of the best if not THE best place to get korean food that isnt your typical KBBQ.

The yuk hye jiang and all of the stews are amazing. I moved futlrther away otherwise i would be there all the time like i used to but i often ordsr the bossam and it is immaculate. Everything you would want for that dish which i will mention, almost no other places in CT do on a regular basis.

Lets keep this place busy and open, it is such an amazing institution, and the servers and chefs are a delight whenever you are there.“

“My boyfriend and I tried Poke Sushi in Vernon tonight! We ordered the California roll, the veggie roll, and the shrimp tempura roll with mango added. The rolls were made immediately as we started paying for our food. It was neat to watch them being made. When we sat down to eat; they were amazing! The ingredients were VERY fresh! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!!! We scarfed down the rolls and forgot to take a picture 😂“

“My husband and I went for happy hour and it was great! The happy hour is only at the bar, but it’s really spacious and the bartender was really attentive.

“The sushi here is fantastic, though it was a bit of a learning curve for our daughter! She wasn't a fan of the sushi texture but loved the hibachi. It’s a great place to introduce kids to new foods with their bento box options. Highly recommend the food, but the seating is a little uncomfortable, so takeout is the way to go.“
