“Outstanding food! I’ve stopped here twice and love the effort on the obvious “homemade” efforts that makes it so good. Chowder was great, and the 30 year old recipe for the lasagna (as the menu boasts) did NOT disappoint. Try this spot, don’t rush or be in a hurry, and enjoy the food and obvious effort that’s put into to making it as good as it truly is. I plan on continuing to explore the menu and specials when they’re to be had. Enjoy!“

“The food is fantastic and the service is great. I do find the lady who is always up front to be super annoying.. The way she assumes what you are there for, and how hard she bangs on the touch screen when entering your order.. It all drives me crazy.. I guess I need to get over that and not be so hard on her... “We happened to be driving through and stopped for lunch. We were so glad that we did. Great chicken cutlet sandwich. Awesome chicken piccata. But we would come back for the soup alone. The Mona Lisa soup is hands down the best soup I have had out at a restaurant. It’s chicken, rice, spinach, lemon and some magical seasonings..with homemade croutons and sliced lemon on the side. Absolutely delicious. We ordered more to take home. Our server was friendly and helpful and really knew the menu. She was great. We will definitely back.“

“They are located behind a gas station in Litchfield, CT. They rank up there with Bigfoot and UFO's in terms of things you might randomly find while driving. That being said, make the effort. Their pizza is awesome, with perhaps the most perfect crust I've had. Everything else on their menu is well done, too. Why does all the magic happen behind a gas station?“

“ordered from ollies for the first time last week. theyre new on slice! placed my order, and everything I put in the "special request" spot, was not done, I called them, they were SOOOOOO friendly and explained that it was a new system, and it was written very small, they made my food correct, and none of them could've been any more apologetic! I felt bad, since they had to bring it all the way back to Torrington. Again the person that delivered was apologetic, and they gave me a free desert. I cant tell you enough how friendly these guys ALL are, we even ordered from them again tonight. the food is sooo good, on top of good service, you can't go wrong...everyone needs to try them, you won't be disappointed! “I ordered catering for my small backyard wedding from franks. We always get our pizza from franks (which is the best in town) so I figured let’s get our catering from them too! We got the chicken piccata and sausage and peppers trays and we were blown away! I highly recommend franks. All of my guests loved it too everyone complimented the food. “Honestly one the most underrated pizzas in Connecticut (in my opinion). The sauce and ingredients are always PACKED with flavor, and the crust is always crunchy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. Their peperoni and sausage is a must try!“

“I have ordered the chicken cutlet grinder, lemon chicken Satorini grinder (need to try if you haven't!), eggplant and meatball parmesan grinders, and the Santa Fe and gyro chicken wraps. EVERYTHING has been excellent as far as freshness, flavor, and reasonable prices for generous portions. I understand they bake their own bread which would explain why the grinder rolls are always super fresh. Also, the staff are always friendly and appreciative. Although I've only gotten takeout, the place looks clean and comfortable, and there are tables so you can dine in.“

“I legit thought I posted a review on here a couple weeks ago, but just realized I only put it on the BT page.
I bought a pie from here when Dominos was doing the special of unlimited toppings for 10.99 if memory serves me right. I went all out and put everything under the Tuscan sun.
When I got there, the owner looked at the slip during the final phase and realized they didn’t put black olives and apologized but said it’ll take them a bit because he was going to remake it. I told him not to worry about it, I would take it as it sits. He said no, you can take both if you want and I thanked him…but I’m one person, no way am I going to eat 2 pizzas…he offered for me to take a soda or water and still said no thanks…I’m legit fine with the order.
Pizza was great but my only thing…didn’t dominos used to have doughy pizza at one time and not the thin crust? The sauce tasted different from what I remember (I don’t eat it often..I’m more of a local supporter).
Overall…I have no complaints..I WILL be back again…after all, them steak Tator tots…I can eat them things daily.“
