“Outstanding food! I’ve stopped here twice and love the effort on the obvious “homemade” efforts that makes it so good. Chowder was great, and the 30 year old recipe for the lasagna (as the menu boasts) did NOT disappoint. Try this spot, don’t rush or be in a hurry, and enjoy the food and obvious effort that’s put into to making it as good as it truly is. I plan on continuing to explore the menu and specials when they’re to be had. Enjoy!“

A lot of people like to write reviews after their perturbed with service and management refuses to make it right however I like to praise businesses when they're doing great and focus on the positive. Sometimes I like to eat alone so I'll get a medium pie and ask for it well done. It's consistent every time“

“We happened to be driving through and stopped for lunch. We were so glad that we did. Great chicken cutlet sandwich. Awesome chicken piccata. But we would come back for the soup alone. The Mona Lisa soup is hands down the best soup I have had out at a restaurant. It’s chicken, rice, spinach, lemon and some magical seasonings..with homemade croutons and sliced lemon on the side. Absolutely delicious. We ordered more to take home. Our server was friendly and helpful and really knew the menu. She was great. We will definitely back.“

“Tried their pizza tonight and it is by far the best pizza I have had in a long time. We had the pup in the car for pickup and they even brought it out to us with plates and napkins. The ingredients tasted so fresh and homemade. We will make the trip from Watertown from now on to go here. Great job to all who work here and own this restaurant!“

“We tried Delta Pizza for the first time tonight and it was awesome! We got a baked penne dinner with meatballs and a pizza with mushroom and pepperoni…The baked penne was well put together and the sauce and meatballs tasted homemade, it had an amazing taste…The pizza was very good too…Will definitely order from them again!🍕“

“The original owners have finally retired!!! Good for them. I personally will miss them...
They sold the place with the same pizza recipe. I wasnt sure at first if it be even close to the original recipe, to be honest, it better only cause i noticed they add a bit more cheese then the previous owners and it taste the same . I always had to tell them add extra cheese so if you like cheese like i do, youll notice it there. i get meatballs & onions on my pizza. But what ever you like on your pizza im sure you will agree with me, that they adda bit more of toppings then previous owners. I cant say anything yet about the other dishes and grinders. Im willing to bet it s just as good if not better. No offence to the original owners, God only knows how hard they work over 43 years. Its time you enjoy your life and let the new owners take over. One other big change is there open 6 days a week.Closed on Monday. Plus the prices hasnt changed either. I wouldnt be offended if they do go up a little on thier prices . Cause the pizza has more to it and lastly as i said before.... Its Still, The

“ordered from ollies for the first time last week. theyre new on slice! placed my order, and everything I put in the "special request" spot, was not done, I called them, they were SOOOOOO friendly and explained that it was a new system, and it was written very small, they made my food correct, and none of them could've been any more apologetic! I felt bad, since they had to bring it all the way back to Torrington. Again the person that delivered was apologetic, and they gave me a free desert. “With comparison to the New Haven style pizzas I think Franks is one of the best in the vicinity. You can tell it’s family owed and operated by the way the answer the phone and their great customers. Thank you for that! They always get my order straight. You’d be surprised just a regular order can be messed up by some of these other pizza joints. Crust is perfect and crisp, but not burnt. Toppings are great with perfect blend of sauce, not overpowering.“

“Small and cozy atmosphere. We both had personal small pizzas and while the crust was pre baked the toppings and sauce were very good. Our server was friendly and prompt. Restaurant was exceptionally clean. No crumbs or stains on any surface not any dust. Locals definitely dine here often. We'll be back.“

The fries were cold, but it's hard to get fries delivered hot in this weather. I couldn't believe the portion size. I'll be nibbling on them for days. “Out of town patron, was headed to a Dominoes when as I walked up I looked over and saw the quaint looking Joe’s Pizza & Wings next to it.

Staff was very courteus, promptly took my order, a steak burger, two cans of coke. Fries were included with the $15.99 burger meal.

They came out and asked if I’d like a pickle, normally I don’t, but for some reason I said yes, and I’m glad that I did. Pickle was good enough to mention lol, guessing that it’s a hamburger dill spear, very good, none of the normal over-powering vinegar taste.

Burger was like 1/2 lbs with sliced/shaved steak on top, cheese, roasted or grilled onions and mushrooms, and red peppers. It was delicious.

Based on the locals I watched, and listened too as they picked up food, it’s a place people frequent. Staff shows a personal touch.“

The choice of peppers was also good, spicy, but not too spicy. There was a nice amount of sauce and cheese. The grinder roll was a solid week past the fresh mark. It was hard, dry, and crumbly. The grinder tasted great. The mess of the hard crumbling roll was all over me. With every bite the hard crumbling roll just squished under my teeth and the fillings just squished out the sides. I finished with a knife and fork.“
