“We went for dinner tonight. My parents love it and took us for my husbands birthday. Food was great! Such big portions and so many shrimp in my Nana’s dish, and it was delish! But what I really want to comment on is that I informed the waitress my son had a peanut allergy. She said they didn’t have anything with peanuts but would inform them. She came back with a picture of the back of the bread wrapper to show me the ingredients to make sure his grilled cheese was safe. I appreciated that more than they know. As a new mom who is also new to the allergy world I’m just learning and the fact that they thought to show me the ingredients says so much. Usually people think if there are no peanuts it’s safe, but you knew enough to look at the ingredients in the bread and go the step further to show me, and I thank you for that!“

“They are located behind a gas station in Litchfield, CT. They rank up there with Bigfoot and UFO's in terms of things you might randomly find while driving. That being said, make the effort. Their pizza is awesome, with perhaps the most perfect crust I've had. Everything else on their menu is well done, too. Why does all the magic happen behind a gas station?“

“ordered from ollies for the first time last week. theyre new on slice! placed my order, and everything I put in the "special request" spot, was not done, I called them, they were SOOOOOO friendly and explained that it was a new system, and it was written very small, they made my food correct, and none of them could've been any more apologetic! I felt bad, since they had to bring it all the way back to Torrington. Again the person that delivered was apologetic, and they gave me a free desert. I cant tell you enough how friendly these guys ALL are, we even ordered from them again tonight. the food is sooo good, on top of good service, you can't go wrong...everyone needs to try them, you won't be disappointed! “I ordered catering for my small backyard wedding from franks. We always get our pizza from franks (which is the best in town) so I figured let’s get our catering from them too! We got the chicken piccata and sausage and peppers trays and we were blown away! I highly recommend franks. All of my guests loved it too everyone complimented the food. “I have ordered the chicken cutlet grinder, lemon chicken Satorini grinder (need to try if you haven't!), eggplant and meatball parmesan grinders, and the Santa Fe and gyro chicken wraps. EVERYTHING has been excellent as far as freshness, flavor, and reasonable prices for generous portions. I understand they bake their own bread which would explain why the grinder rolls are always super fresh. Also, the staff are always friendly and appreciative. Although I've only gotten takeout, the place looks clean and comfortable, and there are tables so you can dine in.“
