“Outstanding food! I’ve stopped here twice and love the effort on the obvious “homemade” efforts that makes it so good. Chowder was great, and the 30 year old recipe for the lasagna (as the menu boasts) did NOT disappoint. Try this spot, don’t rush or be in a hurry, and enjoy the food and obvious effort that’s put into to making it as good as it truly is. I plan on continuing to explore the menu and specials when they’re to be had. Enjoy!“

“Tried their pizza tonight and it is by far the best pizza I have had in a long time. We had the pup in the car for pickup and they even brought it out to us with plates and napkins. “We were a party of 7. They seated in within 5min of arrival, in the small dining area. Our server was prompt and friendly. We ordered a cheeseburger with almost all of the toppings, a chili hot dog, plain hot dog, 3 pastrami sandwiches, a grilled chicken sandwich, a grilled cheese w bacon and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The food was very delicious, minus the hot dogs. They tasted like a store brand one and the chili was just okay. This location only accepts cash, there is an ATM on site. I'll definitely stop here again, when I'm in the area of Torrington.“

During this most recent visit, I really wish the AC was better. Although it was high nineties this past week, I expected they'd have the ac or even the ceiling fans going, but they only had fans at certain spots. Thankfully the food made up for that! :)“

“ordered from ollies for the first time last week. theyre new on slice! placed my order, and everything I put in the "special request" spot, was not done, I called them, they were SOOOOOO friendly and explained that it was a new system, and it was written very small, they made my food correct, and none of them could've been any more apologetic! I felt bad, since they had to bring it all the way back to Torrington. Again the person that delivered was apologetic, and they gave me a free desert. “With comparison to the New Haven style pizzas I think Franks is one of the best in the vicinity. You can tell it’s family owed and operated by the way the answer the phone and their great customers. Thank you for that! They always get my order straight. You’d be surprised just a regular order can be messed up by some of these other pizza joints. Crust is perfect and crisp, but not burnt. Toppings are great with perfect blend of sauce, not overpowering.“

“We ate well tonight! Hubby got a small meatball pizza and I got the steak bomb with fries and a pickle. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The fries were cold, but it's hard to get fries delivered hot in this weather. I couldn't believe the portion size. I'll be nibbling on them for days. Our order was delivered quicker than expected and the driver was friendly. All in all a very good experience.“

We ordered: Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, garlic cheese bread, chicken parm over ziti, eggplant parm over penne alla vodka, cavatelli with garlic,olive oil, sausage, chicken, and broccoli. Dessert was Tiramisu, limoncello cake, and New York cheesecake. Family atmosphere. They also have a private room you can book for parties. You can eat in the bar area or restaurant. The service is always excellent. It’s a shame I can’t post pictures here.“

The choice of peppers was also good, spicy, but not too spicy. There was a nice amount of sauce and cheese. The grinder roll was a solid week past the fresh mark. It was hard, dry, and crumbly. The grinder tasted great. The mess of the hard crumbling roll was all over me. With every bite the hard crumbling roll just squished under my teeth and the fillings just squished out the sides. I finished with a knife and fork.“
