“Outstanding food! I’ve stopped here twice and love the effort on the obvious “homemade” efforts that makes it so good. Chowder was great, and the 30 year old recipe for the lasagna (as the menu boasts) did NOT disappoint. Try this spot, don’t rush or be in a hurry, and enjoy the food and obvious effort that’s put into to making it as good as it truly is. I plan on continuing to explore the menu and specials when they’re to be had. Enjoy!“

Great traditional atmosphere including the rotary push button juke boxes still functional at most booths i remember playing as a kid in the 80's lol. During this most recent visit, I really wish the AC was better. Although it was high nineties this past week, I expected they'd have the ac or even the ceiling fans going, but they only had fans at certain spots. Thankfully the food made up for that! :)“

“ordered from ollies for the first time last week. theyre new on slice! placed my order, and everything I put in the "special request" spot, was not done, I called them, they were SOOOOOO friendly and explained that it was a new system, and it was written very small, they made my food correct, and none of them could've been any more apologetic! I felt bad, since they had to bring it all the way back to Torrington. Again the person that delivered was apologetic, and they gave me a free desert. I cant tell you enough how friendly these guys ALL are, we even ordered from them again tonight. the food is sooo good, on top of good service, you can't go wrong...everyone needs to try them, you won't be disappointed! “With comparison to the New Haven style pizzas I think Franks is one of the best in the vicinity. You can tell it’s family owed and operated by the way the answer the phone and their great customers. Thank you for that! They always get my order straight. You’d be surprised just a regular order can be messed up by some of these other pizza joints. Crust is perfect and crisp, but not burnt. Toppings are great with perfect blend of sauce, not overpowering.“

“We ate well tonight! Hubby got a small meatball pizza and I got the steak bomb with fries and a pickle. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The fries were cold, but it's hard to get fries delivered hot in this weather. I couldn't believe the portion size. I'll be nibbling on them for days. Our order was delivered quicker than expected and the driver was friendly. All in all a very good experience.“

“All the food is great. My wife and I go to Sophia's at least 4 times a week it is that good! Stephanie is absolutely the best waitress you will ever find anywhere. Besides the great food at Sophia's Stephanie makes our visits wonderful she is extremely good at her job. Stephanie is warm, friendly, and kind she really pays attention to make sure we are happy and everything comes out exactly how we ordered it every time. The cooks and owners are wonderful too. It is just a great place we love it and you will too!

A real giant Thank you to the owners of Sophia's to clear the way for my wife and have our favorite meal Cavatelli with sauce on days Stephanie is not working. That meant so much to us. We are both grateful. I repair Pianos for a living and have given 26 Years of piano service at Yale, The Warner Torrington and the Palace in Waterbury plus over 1,000 in home customers. I tell everyone how great the food is a Sophia's! and that they must give it a try.“
