“My parents enjoyed lobster rolls to celebrate their 71st wedding anniversary today. Loved listening to my Dad talk about his memories of the Stand opening in 1937. His family lived across the street and he said his oldest sister was allowed to take his older brother to get a free ice cream cone they were giving out all day. He was only 5 at the time and had to wait till his Dad got home from work to go get his. He also said he remembers there were service windows all the way around the stand and that day all the windows were busy all day long. Would recommend any and everything they serve. If it wasn’t great, it would never have survived this long.“

“We always love visiting Anya in Thompson, CT. Last night was extra special. Our table was greeted with a sweet note wishing us a happy anniversary. Heather, our waitress, provided top-notch service throughout dinner. The new summer prix fixe menu is a steal - 3 courses for $38. The meal started with a small plate of homemade pub cheese and bread, accompanied by a blueberry patch mojito and Nantucket spritz. For appetizers, we enjoyed clam chowder, vichyssoise, and lobster rangoons loaded with huge chunks of lobster. The entrees were beef tenderloin tips and fish and chips with a light, crunchy batter. To finish, we indulged in key lime cheesecake and strawberry shortcake trifle. Thanks to the Anya crew and Heather for another unforgettable experience!“

(But regardless, it never would’ve taken it out of her paycheck, even if it had been stolen.) The customer deleted their post after Gus’s reached out. “We have been going to cozy corner for breakfast for three years. Last year my daughter came down with a dairy allergy. We stop going out to eat. But one day we attempted and the cozy corner and they were absolutely amazing with her allergy. She can eat more food at cozy corner restaurant than others. They are very good with her allergy and go out of their way! Today we went for Mother’s Day breakfast and she got to have a bacon omelette with hash-brown. Thank you so much!!“

“Great food, coffee, and service! The Vanilla Bean is also Vegan friendly, offering Vegan cold foam and an assortment of Vegan coffee flavors. I was told that they can make vegan pancakes and French toast, breakfast potatoes with veggies, and fruit! The vibes on the patio were perfect for breakfast! We definitely will be coming back!“

“Sad to see all the one star reviews for the yummiest little pizza spot in the area. Is the pizza greasy? Yes - not the end of the world to grab a paper towel and dab it off. There aren’t many good options for pizza around here and Riverside is dependable, their pizza is the perfect texture, amount of sauce, and lots of cheese!! Their delivery drivers are always friendly and quick. The only downside in my opinion is the service when you call and order, always very rushed and they slam the phone down as soon as you finish ordering. Other than that - Riverside is top choice for pizza pick up or delivery out here.“
