“A good friend had recommend Grano Arso very highly so we made a reservation. We had a wonderful time on a busy Saturday night. We were seated at a very comfortable table for two in the second room by the excellent host. Our wait person was very helpful explaining our questions about the menu, & our service all night was great. We had a delicious meal with so many seasonal dishes. We will be regulars.“

“We go to Chamard two or three times a year, either for dinner or lunch. It has always been a good experience. Generally not very crowded, service is prompt but not hurried in any way, food is good. Early evening, with the sun setting over the vineyard is pretty and relaxing.“

“The lobster bisque and gazpacho were delicious starters; the grilled trout was wonderful but it was served over too much sauce, too many scalloped potatoes and onions and would have been nicer if served with some greens; the creme brulee was excellent and the sorbet a nice palate cleanser at the end of the meal. Tables for 2 were tight even when 4-tops were available and other twosomes were seated at them. Our waitress and her service made up for it but the restaurant could have been more accommodating.“

A Line was waiting outside but there was a couple of spots available at the Counter . Great bunch working there and used to handling crowds . Three Cooks doing their job right in front of you and 2 Waitresses taking care of Counter and Tables . We had Corn beef hash and eggs which were great . You have to try this place . “I’ve been thinking about Jia Mei’s dry cooked food. Today I tried the 5 Spice prawns which was served of a bed of warm lettuce, red peppers, and fresh sliced chilis. It was delicious, flavorful, colorful, and spicy. This cooking technique is a style of Chinese cooking which is hard to find on the shoreline. Yum!“

I was concerned because it was a Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. and I just knew it would be busy and we may not get seated right away; we were seated as soon as we walked in.

Our server was very attentive.

The food arrived within 10 / 15 minutes

When going to most breakfast places for a first time especially, I always go for my go-to, which is the eggs benedict.

To be honest when my eggs benedict and home fries arrived, the holidays looked a bit different than I am used to at most places and I was unsure about how it would be, taste-wise.
I really enjoyed it and I ate every bite. I always get my English muffins toasted extra for that crunch and so they don't end up too soggy.
Perfect amount of Hollandaise and the home fries were good as well.

Tasty coffee, which matters because you would be surprised or not, that a lot of breakfast places don't serve super good coffee. ?

“This is was my first time here. Menu is great. Has 2 columns (breakfast and lunch) listed as vegan. Which makes it so much easier to choose. And they ask about allergies so you know there is no contamination from things you don’t want your food touching I ended up getting vegan berry French toast. Made mistake of putting maple syrup which made it way too sweet and sadly took away from deliciousness that toast was. (Try it first before you pour maple on top of it) Didn’t care for coffee much. I’m very picky about mine and most diner coffees I don’t like. My only complaint is they open at 8 am. Wish they opened earlier.“
