“Parking across street large lot. Chairs tables front of restaurant before you walk in. Bathroom to right as you walk in. Hostess to left. Get a seat closer to the bar area. Views are magical. Outside another dozen or more tables and a bar. So no need to worry about space. But as the season kicks in make a reservation. Prices are inexpensive for the shore. Food is excellent. Drinks prices reasonable. Good beer choices and mixed drinks.“

“Can only comment on a few items... Buttery smooth lattes with the Canyon Coffee they use. Great Chicken Salad sandwich! Really good Rotisserie Chicken and sides. Drip coffee is really good too. Egg sandwich is a tad bland, but solid. Staff is always really friendly.“

“Today my friend and I spent many hours at the bakery. It’s was a heartwarming experience for both of us since we both are parents to children with special needs. As parents I think it’s normal for us to worry about the future of our children, today we got a peek of the opportunities that are out there and it was beautiful! Thank you for showing us that there are people who love and care for those who may need a little help or guidance outside of their families. Not only way it a friendly environment but the food and coffee is amazing and I would recommend La Stella’s to anyone!!“

“This place is a little gem!The sandwiches we got were fresh, big, and delicious! The service was so friendly! The peanut butter cookies had just come out of the oven, so I had to try those too. They were perfect. And, you will appreciate ot more if you are a need! There are so many things to look at!5 stars all around!“
“Shunock River Brewery And River Cafe stands out because it is inclusive to everyone- no weird looks that I noticed to me or other segregated groups and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This place’s hours range from the earliest to latest dinners, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The food is very affordable and if reviewed, I have no doubt that Michelin would give it a “Bib Gourmand” badge. This place is well known for their pizza and for a good reason- pizza is made inside a historic brick column with many ingredients being local. All minors in my family were given delicious cookies upon entry. Not one employee there was even slightly bitter and half the employees were smiling even without guests around. Unique brewery made beer available on tap. Smoking guidelines are unclear and unenforced. Live music occurs twice a week. If you come here consider joining the “mug club” it is a subscription where you have a designated chilled mug that is easy to get to and you can get free beers!Food just as good as environment and all food is made after order.Summary: get your butt up and come here“

“Great smoothie options! I have been coming here for over two years now. I always love to try their seasonal menu options. They have a walk up window or you can go inside the shop. You can order a head on their app. They have a punch card that will give you a free smoothie with ten punches.“

“This was a great Lunch spot! They had a very versatile menu and Our server ( I think her name was Mallory? ) was very kind and polite. I got the dog watch Salad with steak and it was so good! Just a lot of cheese on the salad that I don’t think was listed on the menu.“

“What a great deli! I’ve been driving past this area for a long time and never knew what a gem this place was. Stopped in for a quick bite before going to the train station. Friendly service, tons of food options, huge portions, and most importantly, delicious sandwiches. Had an Italian with everything on it and a pastrami with mustard, onions, and Swiss cheese. These were 1/2 grinders and we were stuffed! Will definitely be coming here more often.“

“Love this spot for breakfast. They offer so many choices, it makes for a difficult decision. There were tons of decadent choices like stuffed French toast, but lots of lower calorie choices as well. It has a very charming family feel and the coffee bar is self serve. I love that! My only request would be to add smaller plates to the menu. A 3-egg omelet is just too much for me, but the choices, again, were so tempting.“

“We have been coming to Muddy Waters Cafe for last couple of years every Sunday. The atmosphere is lively ( college & Coast Guard students ) and although usually crowded, the line moves quickly. Great egg sandwiches on fresh bagels, pastries, sandwiches and salads. Tomato soup is delicious. The back deck is wonderful to watch activity in the harbor and Amtrack trains. Hopefully it will reopen soon after a fire in their basement . The employees are friendly and very efficient. Totally recommend if in New London.“

“Was very busy in the a.m. due to the St. Patrick’s Day parade ☘️ but barista was calm & very pleasant despite the long line. Great artsy vibe for all ages. Chai Latte was perfectly made! Worth stopping in if you’re passing through the area!Parking: Parking was difficult due to the parade but there is parking at a grocery store a short distance away.Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly.“

“Went somewhere new for date night and Manana Cafe did not disappoint! Started with the homemade tortilla chips and guacamole, which was better than we’ve ever tried elsewhere..fresh fried chips were amazing! I had the mole poblano con pollo and hubby had cochinita pibil (shredded pork with citrus and tortillas). Both were delicious, authentic and fresh. We also tried a spicy margarita and the cinnamon honey margarita and enjoyed both. Service was friendly and sweet and we were checked on often but not invasively. Was a little pricey but was to be expected for the quality and authenticity. It was a win for us, 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Probably the BEST breakfast sandwiches around!!!! I love the sweet Sunday!! It’s my absolute favorite. I’m usually not a sausage person but they put sausage 2 eggs and cheese between a Portuguese sweet roll and it is soooooo good :) I love Portuguese sweet rolls, I grew up with them at my grandmas house. I love that the library is right across the street too so I get my coffee, breakfast sandwich, and go across the street to study“

“I found this place online and thought I would give it a shot. The second I walked in I was greeted by the worker who was very friendly. I told him I was there to study and get some coffee/something to eat. He got me on the wifi and told me to stay for as long as I wanted. I first ordered a cappuccino and it was so good. He didn't charge me then and said when I was ready to leave he could ring me up. It felt like he was a nice guy and trusted me. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich too and it was amazing. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a while. Overall this place has great service and quality coffee and food. Highly recommend this place to anyone, especially if you need to get work done or study.“

“Lori’s Deli & Bakeshop LLC is amazing!! I never knew that this was a place, until my school got their pasta salad. It’s the best I’ve ever had. It’s the bow tie pasta salad, you really need to try it! My mom just got it today for the first time, and also got Ruben Panini sandwiches that are also AMAZING! I love the way the sandwich is put together with all the yummiest things, especially the sauce! It’s right on Town St in Norwich. Even if it looks small, they have a big heart… and a big menu!! Go have the best food with great prices now!!“

“I came here on a whim and I am so glad I did! The barista (whom I think is an owner) was so approachable, friendly, knowledge, and above all welcoming. His suggestions were on point, and he really thought about what I said before making a suggestion. The coffee: salted caramel iced coffee with a little cream... Chef's kiss!I was going to take my coffee and muffins to go but the lure of nerd books, comfy couches, and chill music drew me in.i can't remember the last time I actually sat and drank coffee in a coffee shop, but I couldn't pass this opportunity up!I honestly don't write reviews but I feel the need to let others know how great this place is! I will most definitely be back!Parking: This is a strip mall that use to be a school. Parking is where the busses use to line up. Worse case there is more parking across the street, and there are crosswalks.Kid-friendliness: There are some kids toys in the corner, and books for adults too. The couches are low and comfortable.“
