“My husband and I had our wedding cake made at The Bakehouse. The owners are incredibly nice and generous. We even popped in a week before to ask if they had gluten free options for some guests of ours and they let us sample their almond cookies, which are AMAZING! Our cake was so delicious. “I have been going to this Bakery for the better part of 15 years. I moved out of state and to this day every time I come home for the holidays I make it a point to order the Rum cake. It is hands down the best Rum cake I have ever had. The pastries are always phenomenal and the place is so nostalgic. It still is pretty vintage looking inside and has never changed and never needs to. Reminds me of my childhood. It has always been the same sweet woman behind the counter all this time and I think her husband works in the back. I love this place so much and it feels like home to me. It’s one thing in our town that has remained the same. I hope you all know how much this town appreciates you guys. My other favorites from here are the cookies. The breads filled with jam. Cannolis, Neapolitan & the Bavarian creme filled cake with coconut on top.“
