“Was in mystic conn with my wife last weekend. We decided to try out the S&P oyster restaurant which was directly across the street from Whalers inn where we stayed. Awesome place. So we decided to try the S&P oysters for dinner. No reservations, very accommodating, service was 5 stars, staff very friendly. Food was awesome. Best meal Ive had in a while with the great service. Would highly recommend it if you’re in town. Views were great right along the canal and right near the famous drawbridge. I’ll be back Thank John Mcgrale“

“Just enjoyed amazing cocktails (Gimlet and Curry Barbados) and Nosh (mushrooms had amazing flavor, Korean fried chicken sandwich, salty and delicious, empanadas crisp and yummy) from their Happy Hour menu which is being expanded from 4:00 to 6:00. On Tuesday starting at 6:30 or 7:00 is a jazz quartet which we sadly had to miss but will definitely be back. Our waitress Claire was darling and very informative. Bartender was spectacular!“

Not only that the food was impressive, but the staff was so friendly… they all work together looks like, as everyone stopped by our table to do something: Janet helped us choose margarita to start; Rebecca brought us a starter and explained couple of dishes we were not familiar with, another lady took our payment at the end as Janet was slammed serving customers at the bar… everyone looked so happy to be working there… such pleasant atmosphere. The food was really good. I had fish on a bed of rice and a mix of sautéed vegetables, and Jim had slow cooked beef. We want to go back until we try every dish they make…. Highly recommend it… Will definitely go back very soon.“

The gentleman mixologist working day shift was awesome (I’m horrible with names) very interactive, professional and fun. We moved to a table to eat at shift change and were not disappointed. The fritters were great, sweeter than I like but still impressed with the flavors and appreciated they were cooked through for the generous sizes! Quesadillas were perfect and thick! The surf and turf…. The only thing I could say bad was there was only two shrimp, however they were HUGE and butterflied beautifully. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The portions will never have you saying “that’s all for the price?” You guys are doing a great job! Can’t wait to come back and get deeper into the menu!“
