“The place is sort of a cross between a deli, a restaurant, and a market. They serve breakfast and lots of prepared foods are available for lunch. They also sell specialty items like maple syrup and chocolate. A nice place to stay for a meal. My breakfast sandwich was perfect. Surprisingly decent prices too.“

“I came here craving a burrito and got exactly what I wanted. It was the mexican burritto. It was packed with everything I wanted and had so much flavor! I came here again with my friends and they got what I had last time and they loved it so much! I got their Green Deli Wrap this time and it was also so good. Will definitely have my family come with me next time! Im exicted to try more from their menu too“

“This deli is a HUGE asset to Southbury and neighboring towns. While food costs are rising and portions and quality is dropping, somehow some way Heritage Deli has kept their prices low and the quality is unmatched in the area. My favorite is the chicken, quinoa and sweet potato bowl - it is incredible - and I always have enough for two meals - at $8.50!!!
My husband gets the Tuscan Chicken sandwich also delicious and incredibly reasonable

“Love this place and stop in almost daily for a quick sandwich and drink. Rocky is awesome and always does your food up quick! Great for those of us on the run but want something MORE then mcdonalds. He offers some Asian stuff (egg rolls, soup, wontons) plus all kinds of sandwiches.“

“Ordered grinders twice here. 1st time had the chopped cheese and it was 🔥🔥🔥 beats any deli in the surrounding areas hands down. Was one of the best grinders I’ve had in Waterbury in a long time. 2nd time had the Philly cheesesteak and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. Food is made fresh super flavorful. This is my new spot for grinders.💯“

“Although they messed up my order and did not deliver the salad and desserts, I have to say what they did deliver was absolutely delicious. I called Ariel and he said the next time I come he would give me what Door Dash didn’t deliver. The rice and beans were really something special. The chicken was perfect and the plantains could not be prepared better. I was impressed and will be going back. Mistakes happen, I get it. But great food doesn’t happen. And this place delivers the later. I should be mad, honestly, but what came was so good all I have is a smile and an extremely satisfied tummy. Great food!
This is a follow up to my earlier review. Lo Ina Latina Deli is Waterbury’s hidden gem. Their chicken. Is the best I have ever had. There fried pork was off the charts. Perfectly prepared. Just excellent.
This is the real deal.

“My wife and I have lived in many places and we've never had a sandwich that was so delicious, even on the next day. We've eaten our way from coast to coast and this is my far the greatest hero, grinder, sandwich whatever you want to call it. We will never be getting a grinder anywhere else. “Zurdo's Deli is a real hidden gem in Waterbury, CT. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and it was a game-changer. The bacon was cooked perfectly crispy, and the eggs were fluffy, along with just the right amount of cheese on a fresh, soft roll. Everything was so delicious, and those chicken empanadas? Just to die for! The crust was perfectly browned and crispy, and it has just the right flaky texture to cradle a juicy filling full of intense flavors. Hands down, this has to be the best chicken empanada I've ever had. Great food, great prices! Definitely, Zurdo's Deli is the place to be if you want to experience delicious real flavors at very friendly prices. Highly recommend!“
