“excellent service! everyone on staff is super friendly and prompt and attentive! excellent espresso! (I had 2!). I loved the cup and saucer so much I put a pic in this review! excellent caprese panini !. the ingredients are very fresh, and the whole thing is grilled perfectly! the curly fries were perfectly crispy! so good I didn't even dip in ketchup as I usually do with fries! just a little pepper on top. the pickle was fresh and the coleslaw was excellent! a little extra vinegary but perfect! odd extra thought: the salt and pepper shakers have hinged lids which helps to keep moisture out and prevent spills if tipped over. It reminded me of when I was growing up how my grandmother put rice grains in the salt shaker to help with humidity.“

They were very accommodating to her as she can't walk far and opened up the side door so she could easily get to her table. highly recommend this place!“

“Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.“

“Beer is good but we are saddened that they will no longer have the card purchase for $50 for 11 beers. It was a good value. This may deter us from coming. If it is not working for black hog maybe raise price of card a little? We love the beer but beer is becoming expensive at all of the breweries. “This was a wonderful experience for my stepson and I. Christy was probably the nicest waitress I have encountered in my life. Answered all questions we had, made accommodations requested by a 6 year old with 0 hesitation or annoyance, the food was great and came out as quickly as the bread, my stepson had requested an additional side not listed on the kids menu and she didn't even bat an eyelash making it happen for him. Fairly priced, amazing atmosphere, they deserve all the extra recognition they've been getting lately and then some!! We will definitely be back, time and time again.“

Everyone truly enjoyed their meal and our server Tara (sp?) was wonderful. I had the chicken parm and it was excellent. My wife had the.Brussel Sprout appetizer and loved it. “jimmys food is excellent! however I was there for the 1st time last week, our waitress was not friendly with us. no personality, no smile..brought our food put it down walked away, said nothing. then 5 mins later, as she was walking by the table threw the receipt down, said nothing. Never came to see if we needed anything else or how the food was, she never offered desert, so we didn't get that. I had to go to the counter and ask for a box, as again she never came back to the table. there were only a few tables full, so she wasn't overly busy, meanwhile I'm watching the other waitress there, smile and laugh with her customers. I wish I knew her name, because she definitely needs to learn people skills. ohh I also heard her complaining to a customer who she must've known, about her training someone and now the other girl is waiting tables and she was not happy that this girl was doing her job basically 🙄“

“First time at Miranda's! Greeted immediately when we walked in the door. The staff was so warm and friendly. The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 4:30. Took us a few minutes to decide what we were having, but the waitress was so kind and accommodating. Finally decided on garlic bread with cheese, cheese pizza, meatball grinder. Meat lasagna, soup and Caesar salad. Everything was on point and delicious. Not a crumb left on the table when we finished. When we left there wasn't an empty table in the place. Highly recommend you give them a try.“

“We used to live a couple towns over and had Oxford Pizza Palace quite a bit. After moving out of state and back again to Bristol, we have struggled to find good pizza.

We picked up Oxford Pizza Palace when visiting the in laws in Oxford and wow, I will drive 40 mins for this pizza.

The prices, quality and friendliness of the guy behind the counter are something hard to find in today’s world. You must also try the fried ravioli. Crispy, crunchy, filled and dipped in delicious marinara sauce will have you craving more and more.

We got an XL half cheese, half sausage. Huge pizza, plenty of slices, nice chunks of flavorful sausage. The undercarriage was just how I like it, and that perfect Greek style crust.

Go here. You will not be disappointed. Best pizza in the area even for those further north.“

“Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“I ordered the most expensive roll, the lobster king roll, which had lobster and avocado inside and mango outside! This was my favorite roll EVER. Our server said that this same roll was also her favorite. I also had the Thomaston roll, tried the sunrise roll and the Mars roll. Still the Lobster king roll remains my favorite. I also highly recommend the shrimp tempura appetizer! Their dipping sauce is the best I've ever had!

“We have been to Uncommon many times and the food is always amazing and we have always had a great experience all around but I want to say we had the absolute best service here tonight so I wanted to thank our server Justin D. for an outstanding dining experience tonight. Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. The support staff also did an amazing job tonight as well keeping the table clear of empty glasses and dishes and running food. Just an over all lovely experience.“

“So I have to give so much praise to this winery. First off Jeff is absolutely amazing. I reached out to him back in Feburary asking about using the winery to get married in April and Jeff was so easy to talk to and was so easy to make plans with so I had the best day. Second off a huge shoutout to the staff of the winery. I was married on April 13th 2024 and it was rainy, windy, and incredibly cold. They let us get married on their deck and out of the rain no questions asked. I went back today on 4/15 to pick up a bottle of wine because I want to have it to drink on my one year wedding anniversary of a wonderful memory of the beautiful place we got married at. The ladies behind the bar were so kind and helped me pick the best wine to my liking. Thank you so much for giving me a beautiful place to get married and a beautiful place to have created beautiful memories with those I love the most.
