“I just read a story about these people went to eat and witness something was so totally wrong . A trooper came into this restaurant and was refused service. All these was based on the owners feelings about the law enforcement. These men and women put thier life’s on the line to protect everyone including you Mr. Owner. This puts a bad taste in my mouth about the owner , not the restaurant. This owner has good people working for him and they do make good food. However I will never go to this restaurant ever again. All this happened two hours after the Bristol’s policeman was killed on duty.”

“This is my favorite pizza place. My husband and I have been coming here since the early 2000s but the latest owner is the best. I love the rustic crust and the ingredients always fresh. The grinders are excellent too. I love eggplant parmesan and they do it right! Never greasy. The staff is super friendly and accomodating, and it smells great in there!”

“The pizza here has been outstanding since they have reopened. I love New Haven style pizza, but the newfound popularity has impacted the amount of Greek style Pizza places. This place is one of the best. The service is excellent. When we went they did not serve alcohol but we could bring in and there happens to be a liquor store next to them. My wife and I enjoyed a bottle of wine with our meals. The pizza is a good value, with a large one topping around 30 bucks. It has a nice dining room with booths, but most of their business appears to be takeout. Took about 20 minutes for the pizza, which was perfect! The location, in the center of Middlefield, is convenient for take out, and the slightly thicker slices reheat well!”

A group of 4 of us were traveling through the area and needed a good place for Dinner …We called and made a reservation , the owner Al was very personable on the phone .We arrived for dinner and he had our name on table , and he introduced himself …We had a couple of beers while he explained the menu to us ….we Decided on a couple of appetizers and also a small pizza to sample before ordering our dinner . The appetizers arrived and were very good, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza , so much flavor … the crust was to die for light and airy and so much crunch in the crust !!!! Next was the Dinner - Chicken Francaise , Chicken Parm , Chicken Marsala , Fettuccini Carbonaro .All meals arrived hot and were Delicious …We also got to meets Al’s Daughter who was very personable just like her Father ….We wished we had this Restaurant in our community . Give this Restaurant a shot , you won’t regret it . Thank you”

“I hate to say I have never had a playa bowl before but so happy I had the chance to try one! Especially after a nice hike, this was the perfect superfood!

I couldn't decide what I wanted, but the employee gave me some good suggestions!

I ended up going with the Nutella the Nutelloco playa which was açaí and coconut base topped with blueberry flax granola, bananas, strawberries, coconut flakes, raw cocoa nibs and Nutella. It's huge! Definitely a meal in itself!

The employees were very friendly. Even with my indecisiveness. The place is pretty chic and relaxing with a nice electric fire place and plenty of seating.
