“I ordered the spicy beef ramen it was amazing! The beef was tender and flavorful as well as the broth. I've tried several ramen spots in CT and this is the best I've had so far. Can't wait to go back and try the tonkotsu and sushi.“
“The food was good, but I don’t know if I would say it was great. We got the soup dumplings, the sample platter, and the pork wonton soup. The dumplings were really good, but the sample platter was a bit difficult because we had no idea what any of them were. The pork wonton soup was good, but the broth tasted strongly of seaweed. If you like seaweed, I’d totally recommend the soup, but not if you don’t. We also all got tea. The tea came as boiling water and a separate tea bag, which seemed strange but was overall fine. Their boba tea was really good. The atmosphere of the place was really nice.“
“I tried this place for the first time today. It’s a little small on the inside but other than that, everything was amazing. I got the bbq Mac and couldn’t have been more amazed with how good the food was. The workers there r very polite, I’ll definitely be back“
“We ordered takeout on a Thursday night. Wife got combo pho with extra tendon and extra flank steak. She said it was fresh and delicious, it was the first time she's ever gotten enough tendon and meat in a pho which is a huge win for me (happy wife happy life). It was clean and cute inside. The wonderful woman at the counter, Nicole, was very personable and kind - she hooked us up with extra fish sauce and treated me so well that I have a new favorite pho restaurant. I had the grilled pork on vermicelli with an egg roll. 10/10 perfectly cooked and great flavor. I don't usually post reviews but I was especially impressed tonight. Thank you!“
“Mae Kong is a great littleThai restaurant . The owner cares about her food and it shows . It is a small place tasteful but simple atmosphere . I have eaten here for many years . It is one of the few restaurants in downtown New Britain that has withstood the rest of time. While many others have come and gone Mae Kong survives. The menu is varied and contains many Thai dishes you won't find elsewhere . I have Tom Yum Khoong soup, the Larb, Pad-See-ew, a couple of Prik dishes, the green, Panang and Mussaman curries as well as several other dishes . All ver excellent. S solid and relatable Thai restaurant. It's BYOB.“
