“My partner and I had 2 different experiences. My pizza was perfect. I had half pepperoni and roasted red peppers and the other half was soppressata.It was cooked perfectly and was quite delicious. Definitely my kind of pizza.My partner's pizza was half pepperoni and half sausage and they burned the mess out of his pepperoni side.So I'm reviewing my pizza only here since that's what I ended up eating primarily.I found the soppressata side of my pizza to be surprisingly good. That was my first time trying soppressata, so I have nothing to compare it to but it was very yummy. My partner also agreed and had a few slices of my pizza that he enjoyed. The pepperoni and red pepper was very good as well.Their crust is on point with just the right amount of crisp on the top and chewy softness on the inside.Overall, I found the service to be friendly and helpful. “I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and I must say the birria tacos, the smash burger, the street steak tacos, the French fries, the mozzarella sticks, and also the quesadillas AMAZING. “Attention all vegetarians: yes yes and yes lol. The food was delicious. So many vegetarian options. I had the falafel gyro and loaded fries. One dish is plenty, but I had to try both. Oh and their tzatziki sauce is out of this world! Best I’ve ever had.This place would be perfect if it had more of a restaurant vibe and less like a fast food set up. But definitely worth a try. “Food: amazing his crust is perfect the sauce is an experience of flavor combined with the subtle over tone of sweetness. Now my office orders pizza from the location so if eatin it in the past. Today I had the privilege of visiting the location and assuming meet the owner with 2 others behind the counter. I said his sauce was amazing we started chatting and I don’t know how but we started talking about how I was going to see my father in recovering from medieval issue and wanted to surprise him with some great New Haven pie.(my father was raise on Wooster street so he knows and loves pizza) He than proceeds to say the pizza is on the house. I was like no please let me pay he said it’s on me. This was first interaction with this man in person and I can say nothing but what are you waiting for go get a pizza pie or whatever else is in the menu because it’s worth it!“
“I have been coming to East side pizza since I moved to that side of town in 1995. The best pizza in town.... Possibly the state. I have since moved to the West side of town, but still remain a loyal weekly customer. I pass by numerous other pizza joints to happily go to my favorite pizza place. They serve a Greek style pan pizza. I love just their plain cheese pizza, but I am older and usually red pizzas no longer sits well with me. I normally get a white pizza with eggplant, bacon and ricotta.(my absolute favorite) Or white with meatball and onion. The brothers that own the place are very sweet and always take good care of my order. They are teaching the next generation and I am hoping I will be able to continue getting great food for the next 30 years.“

“Stopped by for take out. Seafood combo of scallops (large) shrimp and clams over linguine. Lots of chopped clams in the mix olive oil and garlic sauce. Absolutely delicious. My friend had veal picata over linguine. He enjoyed as well. Decor was not what I expected. Felt a bit like a refurbished diner. I think they could add additional Tuscan flavor to help make the in house dining more inviting. But, the food was the star and female waitstaff extremely friendly. You won't be disappointed“

“I haven't gone out for a GOOD pizza in a long time. There has been a lot of hype over Fuoco Apizza so I was excited to finally check them out. They are conveniently close by from my work too. Don't know why I haven't been by sooner. Fuoco has really set the bar high with their coal-fired pizza. The pizza is slightly and perfectly charred (or burnt) that it elevates the flavor. The crust was not too crunchy and the bottom wasn't soggy from the sauce. We went simple with our pie choices: Original Mozzarella, Margherita, and The New Haven. What makes it The New Haven pizza? It's a classic tomato pie with crushed tomato sauce, garlic, oregano, olive oil, pecorino. The sauce, cheese and spices lived up to the hype. A few months back, Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports visited Fuoco and gave them a 8.5 one bite review. If you follow his pizza ratings--that is very high. The pizza, in my opinion, was some of the best New Haven style. I liked that the cheese didn't slide off with a single bit and I did not kill the roof of my mouth (iykyk). It's probably the best pizza around without traveling into New Haven and the best pizza local to Cheshire. Next time we will kick it up a notch and try pies with toppings. It's is a great casual lunch spot with a small indoor dining area and a nice outdoor patio to enjoy on beautiful days. Besides pizza, the menu includes salads, sandwiches, appetizers, wings and desserts. They carry Foxon Park soda... The birch beer is an absolute staple! I love that the menu is simple and not overly complicated. You order at the counter that looks into the kitchen then you choose your seat. The staff were very friendly and the pizza comes out very quick. The pizzas came out at different times because they were pulling the directly from the coal fire oven. The restaurant was not busy either for lunch, but they had a lot of takeout orders. Anyway, if you are a pizza lover, put Fuoco Apizza on your list.“

“My wife and I arrived irritated and hungry after a 7 hour drive with so much traffic, we were looking for a place to sit down and eat, though there are two small tables inside this isn't the place for that. They stayed busy with calls and customers coming in and now after having a couple slices I know why. I'm not even sure what slices I picked, I both had bacon on them and one was a white pizza slice, and though I was worried because it was nearly 8 pm at night and who knows how long they had been sitting on display I wasn't in the mood to go somewhere else.Fast forward to my wife and I getting to our hotel and opening up the box and taking a bite, I smiled, it was one of the best bites of pizza I've ever had from NY to Italy to Germany to all over the US. “I came here for dinner with my family and girlfriend and I must say the food is absolutely delicious but it is a little bit smaller than the Milford location. At the time when I went, there was another major party going on just arriving with Quinnipiac university which these women filled up most of the dinning area. I did call ahead of time and put a last minute reservation but still this restaurant needs to expand and have a separate area for parties it is way too small. A lot of people don't like to sit at the bar area for dinner squeezed into a booth with a noisy party eating buffet style.“

“Tried Jimmy's Pizza for the first time last night. I was craving a greek style pizza with a thicker crust. My husband went and picked it up and there was a child's birthday party going on and it was utter chaos inside the restaurant with children running around screaming and trying to get into the kitchen. My husband said the staff was doing their best trying to keep the children out of the back but it was pretty crazy. We ordered the meat pizza and it was supposed to be ready just before 6pm. They were running behind and it was another 15-20 minutes before it was ready. I do have to say that the pizza was fantastic. The crust was buttery and light. The sauce was tangy with the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. We will definitely be ordering again. Hopefully next time we will miss the birthday party. LOL.“

“I tried Lakewood pizza for the first time today and I definitely will order again and again and again and again. I had a chicken cutlet grinder and mozzarella sticks, and everything was fresh! the bread for the grinder was so good, it seemed like it was just baked and that just came out of the oven and the chicken cutlet on it was perfect and tasty and the lettuce and tomato was fresh and crisp. and oh my my, those mozzarella sticks are out of this world! tons of mozzarella cheese, which again I must say tasted so fresh and they were cooked to perfection, the outside was golden brown and crispy and then you pull it apart and the cheese just keeps coming and coming and you see how far you can stretch the cheese out before it's going to fall......LOL. The salad had a very generous amount of grilled chicken on it, and the wraps were bursting with contents, where I've seen other deli's skimp on the contents. Everything was fresh and delicous.
