I just ordered 8 burritos from here and I'm so surprised that each one weighs over 1.5 pounds! That's crazy!!! The owner, Mr. Máximo, was very kind and friendly and gave me free food and cake! They tasted like they'd just come out the fryer after 30 sec in the microwave. For my entree I got the Chicken Burrito which was amazing. It had so much flavor and was huge. “This is the best Mexican food I've had in both New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. I usually travel a lot and frequently visit new places. This is a hidden gem in a small venue. Everything has excellent flavor, well seasoned, freshly made and the prices are unbeatable. Definitely a place to eat several times a week. I recommend them to anyone. A blessing to find such a place. Hoping that this place remains authentic and does not change. “I moved into the area recently and was recommended salsas 7 by a friend, they stated “order anything on the menu and it will probably be one of the best meals of your life”. I now have to see that he was right. I shared several different tacos, a bowl, the fries and chips with salsa. It all tasted great but the stand outs for me were the birria and al pastor tacos. The price was good for the quantity given and the service whether at the table or ordering station was great. “So we stopped there cause my friend was buying a car from someone and that's the parking lot they choose to meet. I've never even been to that part of CT before. I had the chicken quesadilla, OMG the chicken was seasoned and cooked amazingly. The tortilla was toasted perfectly (and it was huge) great overall meal. My friend had a couple different tacos which he said were amazing. Even our waiter was friendly, willing to give his preferences, he would check on us to make sure we were good. Haven't had good experiences for awhile now so this was a nice change. Hopefully I'll have a reason to visit that part of CT so I can stop there again. Definitely worth the time to check out.“

“Keep reading for the good part. Recently, my family has been struggling a lot financially. We used two gift cards to purchase meals for the next few days from this store on Sunday afternoon. When our order arrived, they were half full and drastically incorrect (no meat in either bowl and incorrect sides). We did not realize until later that night since we were trying to save the portions.On Monday (4/29/24) morning, I called the store to make a complaint. I was very upset and truly didn’t expect for my family since this was our only chance to have food in the house until my husbands next check on Tuesday.When I called, I was greeted by the sweetest person I have met since moving to CT. I believe it was the shift manager, I apologize that I did not catch his name. He validated my worry and listened to me. He told me to come down and he would take care of us. When I arrived at the store, I could tell exactly who he was before even saying hello. He was the person with the bright smile and A+ customer service and care to the customer in front of me.In a time of financial crisis this community and country is currently facing, I can say that the empathy he showed me made my family feel seen and heard. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and hospitality. Truly sir, o hope you have the MOST blessed day.“
