“The ice cream is great! I love to support local, but the sllooowwww service needs to change! Two girls at the window, moving very slow, with no care in the world! The owner, outside talking to an obvious friend that is in line, not stopping to say I should go inside and help. We waited about a half hour to just get to the window to order, and there was only three people in front of us.“

“Went here to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. I had the Walnut Maple hard ice cream.
My friend had the soft serve, which was the absolute best he has EVER tasted! And, my friend was called "Signor Gelato" when he visited his relatives in Rome (and ate ice cream like a fanatic). This is certainly top-quality ice cream and the best that we've ever had here in the states.
BTW, my Dad loved the MUSIC as well. We spent the whole time talking about the music as we ate our delicious ice cream! Definitely going back again and again! We are talking Mott the Hoople, Def Leppard, Queen, to name a few.
We followed-up for a visit on September 5th and took some photos of their current flavors. That time I tried the Maine Black Bear; highly recommended!“

“We have been going for many years and even after a new owner to took over . The services have been always great . My one recommendation and it’s my favorite and had about it many years ago is to carry coconut flavored .. but other then that it’s continues to be a very busy hot spot and a nice hang out in the back . I love that place“

“I love carvel and if you have never been , or haven't been in there in a long time, you have to go. There ice cream is always fresh as are all the toppings. Prices are about average for quality ice cream. Service is always fast and friendly.“

“A nice spot located in West Hartford center. I love the smell of waffle when I enter. They offer a variety of signature flavors as well as seasonal taste. The ice cream is rich. You can choice from a variety of waffle cone and topping types. Their staff are always friendly and helpful. Pricing is a bit higher than some of the other ice cream chains, but you get what you pay for.“

“I love this place and I stop in everytime I go through the area. The sandwiches are hearty and reasonably priced, the coffee is great and the staff is so incredibly NICE. The interior has no frills and I love it, no froufrou, just honest to goodness food, drink, and service. Highly recommend!“

“This is my favorite ice cream place! The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is because of inconsistency. There are times I get a good amount of ice cream and toppings for what I pay, and then there are times like today.. In which the kid literally gives me 1/3-1/2 the amount of ice cream they usually give out, a "sprinkle" of chocolate sauce, and maybe a dollop of whipped cream. I have never been so disappointed! 90% of the time they are perfect. It just depends on your server I guess.“

“Super nice and attentive staff (two young women and owner?) Handled our 9-person group easily. Everyone tried medium cups with two flavors. Nutella was a favorite. Big comfy chairs just in front of store. Great place to eat ice cream and talk. Thanks!“

“We happened to come in on a busy night. Tina was our server. Her and the Manager were professional and handled the crowd with no problem. All our ice creams were perfect and it was still a pleasant environment even though every booth was full! Will definitely come back again“
