“I used to go here quite often many moons ago, but for some reason haven't been there in quite a while. But was meeting an old friend who lives in New Caanan, and we chose this place. I opted for the Fish-n-Chips which was pretty tasty, but somewhat oily. But I ate every bit of it. The atmosphere is very "dive" bar ish, which is a bit of a charm in itself. We were able to eat our food and enjoy a couple of beers with some good conversation without them trying to turn over the table. After all these years CSE still has tasty food, and I'm sure I'll be back.“

“Surprisingly family-friendly for a bar! It’s our go to weekend hangout. There’s a whole separate area away from the main bar where you can let the kids loose (not literally… unless you’re into that). Tons of games: darts, table games, and enough fun to keep everyone entertained while you sip on a perfectly poured Guinness. The food? Ridiculously good. Wings and burgers hit the spot, and my husband swears by the Reuben-it’s basically his soulmate. Just don’t expect fine china here. Everything comes on paper plates, because the food’s too good to waste time on dishes. Bonus: the owners are the kind of people you’d want to have a beer with-friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly doing it right. “We had a party for my husband’s birthday in one of the private rooms. The room was a perfect size for 25 people. The table was set beautifully! The room looked lovely and had a small walk out patio that opened the space. The staff could not have been nicer: very accommodating and respectful of all dietary needs. The food was excellent! “Neaz has the best tacos in Norwalk! Great place to go with any type of crowd. They have darts to play with friends, lots of TVs to watch games, and great treats for kids too. They even have a dedicated Dog menu if you want to get your best friend a snack.“

“Visiting Greenwich with my lady and she took me to me of her local joints that she grew up going to and I loved it! It’s the type of hometown place that we all love, but seem to be disappearing. Shuffle board, beers, some bomb pizza & great conversations. I’d be a regular if I lived in town.

And can we talk about Connecticut’s pizza game, again! I’ve been constantly happy every time I order a pie.“

“Found this place browsing for "pool table bar". Found this little gem. Has a nice pool table and other games. It is located on a quiet street in downtown stamford. Medium size and has an open area patio in the back. Overall a nice quiet bar. Ordered food which was way better than what I had expected, actually very good. Will go back for the calamaris and freshly cut homemade french fries.“

This compliment on your quality and preparation is unequivocal as I have eaten pork chops in more than 200 restaurants throughout the USA, Mexico, South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Japan, Spain and France. My absolute favorite brined pork chop is served at Castelli’s Ristorante in Palm Desert CA. Inasmuch as my brother lives in Stamford I will be back. BTW my wife’s Braised Short Ribs were melt in your mouth as well. A great big thank you and hat’s off to the culinary team.“

“Our party of 6 enjoyed an early Father's Day meal in the outdoor gazebo seating. Service was excellent and appetizers and meals were delicious. Clams casino, fried calamari and meatball appetizers were great! Lobster bale, steak and fries and lobster rolls all delicious. There was a little noise from outdoor music at restaurant next door but otherwise enjoyable afternoon.“

“As a gay man this place is awesome. The ladies are super respectful of the fact that you are there for a dance. If you want to watch sports they have great TV coverage. Also the DJ has a great playlist going, and the acoustics are great like your ears won't bleed. The bathroom is antique. Generally they are not pushy. This is not the strip club to avoid but the club to support as they have some respect.“

“This is quite literally the best buffalo chicken wrap of my entire life. I pride myself on being a connoisseur of this classic pairing of crispy chicken hand tossed in buffalo sauce, and wrapped to perfection. This place does it as good if not better than anywhere in the country. The biggest hesitation I have in leaving this review is that the word will get out and it will become too popular/ they will be able to increase prices due to overwhelming demand. @brickhouse - please don’t let me down!!“

“Here for a wedding. Wedding and bar service, app service was outside in a beautiful setting. Service was slightly understaffed. Dinner was inside and served buffet style, which often leaves much to be desired. Not this time, it was superb. Halibut was perfectly cooked as was everything else. Sauces were delicious as well.
