“My wife and I went here for one of the stops on our honeymoon. The golf cart ride from the remote parking lot was relaxing. We had a water front seat It was absolutely breathtaking. The food was amazing the waiter was friendly and took time to answer any questions we had. We will be back one of the best seafood restaurants we’ve been to.”

“Everything was Great!! I walked in expecting good service and good food and I walked out a happy customer. I ordered the bbq and the j*** sauce wings, It was amazing!! I was actually licking my fingers because the sauce was sooo good. I must add the decor was beautiful. It looked so elegant on first encounter and I found myself talking about it during my whole dinner. You won't regret eating at favorites. I promise you, I will be a regular over there.”

“There is one thing and one thing only you're going to do here: Get an amazing grinder. Sure, they have other sandwiches that are good, and an array of breakfast items and homemade mayo-based salads that are also top-notch, but their grinders are legendary in an area that literally invented the grinder (really, look it up).

They're absolutely huge and crammed full of fresh ingredients. The mother-and-daughter team that runs the place are friendly and provide rapid fire service... necessary in a tiny place that routinely has lines out the door.

Be aware of the one drawback: Hamilton Market closes at 3 pm and does not open on weekends. This place is strictly breakfast and lunch, and most of the clientele consists of folks on their way to work or on their break. However, if you do want the magic of their grinders outside these hours, they do a big catering business too.”

I have found one that I like very much, but I have never seen eggs done over easy as fantastic as Jakes are. We were living on Fishers Island for 19 years before we moved back and we would take the ferry as often as we could . Jake and his family are welcoming to all.”

“01.30.25 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' featuring Apathy- The Dutch Tavern 23 Green St ❤️ City of New London, CT ❤️ I ordered and reviewed their Cheese Steak Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Red Potato Salad. Apathy had a Cheeseburger with Red Potato Salad and Broccoli Cheddar soup. The big question is, "How was this Spot"?👎🏾👍🏾💣 Well I was pleasantly surprised that the place was booming when we walked in, I loved the whole atmosphere, the Owner and cook named Tim was very talkative and friendly to my Brotha Apathy and I. To top it all off he served us both delicious sandwiches👍🏾👍🏾, potatoes salad👍🏾 and broccoli and cheddar soup👍🏾. “01.26.25- 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' - Little Galapagos Restaurant ❤️ City of New London ❤️ I dropped into The Little Galapagos Restaurant this evening to review a couple of their popular menu items which were Chicken Wings, Thai Chilli Sauce followed by Carne Asada Ecuadorians Style meal that was actually really Dope ❤️ however the Chicken wings were not great at all so they earned a Thumbs 👎🏾 The atmosphere and service was really dope there and I am sure that had I ordered anything else on the menu besides the Wings would have been just as good as the Carne Asada. Don’t tell my local favorite takeout but China Express has the best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had. We also got sesame, chicken and General Tso chicken, lo mein, boneless spare ribs, and a couple of egg rolls. We ended up with more egg rolls than I expected. This is good because their eggrolls are excellent. They are so fresh and they are not greasy. The chicken dishes were also both very good. We got a ton of food for the money we spent and will be able to eat it again tomorrow. Thank you guys so much. We will be back next time we are shopping in New London.”

The menus is diverse, and food and drinks are always good and presented professionally. The dining atmosphere is pleasant with table cloths, and low lighting on each table. Plus they have live music on most Fridays from 6-9 pm. Try them out...you won't be disappointed!”
