“This place is great! The neighborhood it’s in seems a little helter skelter but a charming place nevertheless. The pizza isn’t what I come for mostly the dinners and fried food, great fried food! When the family can’t decide who wants what we come to ocean pizza a lot for their varied and large American food menu. The seafood here…fried seafood here is what I normally get“

“good morning NL at 5:45am i stop here to get breakfast i saw two blonde women get out their expensive luxury cars ..btw nice rides llady i se business is good..i waved good day to the lady in glasses..she threw me a look of disgust to sitting in my car og well! then it got real ugly i bad vision i used my flashlight to what time they open then the other lady came the door like a pitbull at me LOL thank the lord she didnt bite me on this lovely sunday then they call the police on me LOL so no french toast crispy home fries and the icing on cake she told me never come bacl thank god i has my tylenol with me LOL reporting in NL your food critic ..“

“I have been back in Dayton Ohio for a little over 2 years. I have tried to find a place that does breakfast as well as Jakes. I have found one that I like very much, but I have never seen eggs done over easy as fantastic as Jakes are. We were living on Fishers Island for 19 years before we moved back and we would take the ferry as often as we could . Jake and his family are welcoming to all.“

“Just got back from the 1st Sunday of the month night with Mystic Dead. Met the owner who seemed like a super humble and unassuming guy. The staff and the food and the band (of course) were all amazing! Looking forward to chilling down by the river after the shows when the weather warms up a bit. Drove down 2 hours for this show at this venue. Totally worth it on all accounts!!“

“They have a few tables, but I've never seen anyone eating there.
It's (for me) primarily a take out place.
I found Golden Wok in the middle 90's when they were on Bayonet St. There menu and food quality hasn't changed in that 27 years.
I moved out of New London in 2003 and I travel back to Golden Wok at least 6 or 7 times a year.“

“Easy location between New London and Waterford. Love ordering online and using pick up window. Never leave my car. Great for this busy mom. Food is always good. If not they make it fix it when I call. A+ service.“

“The wait staff especially jade was very nice. The food was good also. It’s funny to me that people want a five star rating for a happy days restaurant . Pick foods you know wil be fast to cook and you won’t be dissatisfied!! Loved the cook he is great at what he does.“

“My wife and I went here for one of the stops on our honeymoon. The golf cart ride from the remote parking lot was relaxing. We had a water front seat It was absolutely breathtaking. The food was amazing the waiter was friendly and took time to answer any questions we had. We will be back one of the best seafood restaurants we’ve been to.“
