“So very disappointed. Was there with a disabled person and treated terribly by customers and wait staff. Food was not good and service was terrible. Have been there previously and had a much better experience. I am not sure what changed but definitely will not go back or recommend this place if the same rude waitress is there. “We chose Dog Watch in Stonington to celebrate our 30th anniversary and is always so welcoming, our server was Sara and she took very good care of us. My husband had soda and I had a spicy watermelon margarita which was delicious. I started with a shrimp and roasted corn chowder . We both had an order of our favorite clams casino.My husband had his favorite lobster blt . We shared an order of bang bang shrimp and my main course was the Dog Watch salad. For dessert we had limoncello and key lime pie. Everything was delicious. The evening was a lovely memory. We look forward to our next visit.“

“We dined her two nights after we were married as we were staying in The Whaler’s Inn.I ordered the Chef’s Tasting Menu and it did not disappoint from oysters to fluke and mushrooms and steak - every dish was delivered by a different waiter and the presentation was beautiful.“

“A recent first time visit for my wife and I found me behind the best plate of Veal Parm I’ve had in many years. My wife in Ricotta heaven with her Stuffed Manicotti. A fresh salad start with bread that floated like a cloud. Talk about a home run! We live an hour away but will return in a heartbeat! Manga!“

Gorgeous French pastries that taste as good as they look, and a beautiful interior.It was tough to choose, but eventually I picked this exquisite orange pistachio pastry. Pistachio financier with pistachio ganache, orange vanilla pastry cream and pistachio Bavarian. Heavenly ??This great pastry shop is the perfect way to start your day in Mystic. “Absolutely amazing food, i got the fish and chips but replaced fries with onion rings. I would reccomend this cafe to friends, family etc. The live band was amazing and the drinks were even better. I got a grapefruit martini that was a little too bitter. I didnt even complain about it, but the owner herself saw my face and immediately offered to replace the drink or add to it to my liking. The service was phenominal and the food was just as amazing. Whether you just want a drink or are hungry, its seriously one of the best places in the area.“

Not really a fan of pizza but i surely was not in the mood for fast food.So I figured I’d give the brick n basil a try. “This place makes some of the best Indian food I ever eaten. Flavors are deep and complex. I haven't had a curry here that wasn't great. Really recommend Saag Paneer and Chicken Phaal. Tamarind eggplant is also really good. Great ambiance as well, and attentive service.“

“Last evening I had what is possibly the best meal I’ve ever had in our area of SE Connecticut. We had the Tasting for Two at Whitecrest Eatery - Pork Schnitzel with Buttered Peas, Roasted Root Vegetables, and Lingonberry Compote. Absolutely everything was fresh, including the meat. The Schnitzel was light as a feather, the coating crisp, and the pork juicy and clean tasting. The peas were so delicious, I could have eaten a whole pot of them. I didn’t know food could taste this marvelous! Service was great, even the music playlist was fabulous! The dessert, Lemon Ice Cream with a raspberry reduction and crumbled cookie, was, again, light and refreshing, obviously fresh made. It was what I imagine dinner in heaven would be like.“

“stopped in for lunch with my mom today. she had the chef's salad and I had the side garden salad and a bowl of minestrone. everything was delicious... especially my soup. focaccia and dipping oil was served at the table. so delicious!! fantastic server with a great laugh and sense of humor. People at happy hour were really enjoying themselves, and down the hallway is the main restaurant overlooking the water. Lovely and quiet. Diverse menu with great options for omnivores and vegans. I appreciate a vegan menu, with courses created as vegan—not a dish intended for omnivores with something missing (that always disappoints). The moussaka was awesome! We went at 7pm, and it was the ONLY time I've seen empty seats there. I'm just not a fan of packed places. The food is amazing, and I love looking into the kitchen to see what the cooks are preparing.
