They put on the whole show and smoked the drink right at the table. Definitely not a disappointment. They always have seasonal drinks and come up and ask how they were. “We just held a surprise anniversary dinner and we are more than glad we chose Fife ‘n Drum! Elissa was hands down amazing, she truly made the dinner. No glass ever went more than half empty, not one issue with an order, everything went so smoothly We were given a private spot for our group of 19, she assisted with opening curtains for our surprise reveal, handled cutting and serving the cake we brought. It was fabulous and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.“

“My friend and I had lunch today here. Yokohama Restaurant is wonderful. The food is delicious, the wait staff courteous and friendly, the prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is casual with nice background music. It is not a fancy place at all, but that didn't matter to us. We shared the steamed vegetable dumplings which were delicate and delicious, the fried calamities which was very crunchy with large pieces of squid and the best I've ever had. We each got a box lunch which is $15 and includes 3 shumai, 4 pieces of California roll with wasabi and pickled ginger, white rice and the main event - mine being the shrimp tempera included 2 huge shrimp and vegetables tempera. My friend had the chicken teriyaki box lunch and both were delicious. And somehow we decided to get dessert, and split the mango-raspberry sorbet which was lovely. We will definitely return to Yokohama!!!“

“Overall, the food was good, but there were a few things that affected my experience.

I felt quite unwell after eating there, which unfortunately put a damper on the meal. Also, while the option to choose two side dishes sounds generous, the portions were actually quite small.

I personally didn’t enjoy the vegetables, as they had a slightly sour taste. I was also a little surprised that some of the food was served in plastic dishes, especially considering the price point of the restaurant.

Overall, the food itself was good, but I expected a bit more in terms of portions and presentation for the price.“
