“Charlies Place Restaurant is a decent family style restaurant (with associated bar lounge) with an extensive menu and lots of weekend specials. We were here for dinner, and had the greek dinner special + the prime rib special. Both had generous portions, tasted good, and were served promptly on a busy weekday evening. A good choice if interested in a traditional family restaurant.”

“I have ordered delivery from Boardwalk many, many times. I have always placed my order quickly and had friendly service. Not today! I ordered 2 dinners with appetizers and spoke with someone who seemed new. They wouldn't make one of the dinners I ordered, so I chose something else. When asked if I was paying cash or card, I said card. After some discussion with his " boss", I was told I couldn't use a credit card, cash. What?? Always use my card. Something very shady going on over there. Never again”

“Black point pizza is always my go to when I want an absolutely amazing pizza. for me I have the cooks keep it in the oven a bit longer so it stands up when you pick it up to eat. the sauce is to die for also. if you like your pizza a little more firm just ask and the cooks are happy to make your food exactly as you like. minor the owner is a stand up guy and really did good with this recipe. the salads and his homemade balsamic dressing is the best I've had from anywhere. if you have not come out to black point you are really missing out. “We love Niantic Public House and Brewery. The drinks are great, bartenders are super friendly, and we always have a good time there.”

“Gave up on this place many years ago but decided to give it another try since it was getting good reviews on one of the Niantic social media groups.

Was happily surprised. Food is fabulous, service is fast and friendly. Love the convenience of ordering online and being able to pay at the counter.

Asked the woman behind the counter if ownership/staff was new to the place and she said no, it’s been about 6 years.

Now I’m hooked on their boneless ribs, pork fried rice and General Tso’s bean curd (tofu)

I know Chinese takeout is not exactly health food but the food here tastes so much less greasy and salty than others, even the egg rolls!

This is my new favorite local Chinese takeout place! If you haven’t tried it in the last 6 yrs, please do. You won’t be disappointed.”

“One of my favorite dining experiences ever!. Amazing food, wonderful friendly service and my dogs were able to join in on the fun. Dogs welcome on the patio for a Bark menu for the dogs. A night out in Niantic with my dogs, priceless!”

“Delicious baked goods! There was a line out the door, but it moved pretty quickly and it was worth it. I liked the ham and cheese croissant and guava and cheese. The sweeter ones had a little too much filling for my taste, but they were still tasty and beautiful.”

“Parking is tricky cause Connecticut drivers apparently don't look when they drive and just stop and turn. The service was fast and the prices are reasonable for the portions you receive. Best ice cream and value around.”

I smiled at the worker and said guess I'll be going else where .

Got home no black lives , onions 😢.
