“Absolutely amazing food, i got the fish and chips but replaced fries with onion rings. I would reccomend this cafe to friends, family etc. The live band was amazing and the drinks were even better. I got a grapefruit martini that was a little too bitter. I didnt even complain about it, but the owner herself saw my face and immediately offered to replace the drink or add to it to my liking. The service was phenominal and the food was just as amazing. Whether you just want a drink or are hungry, its seriously one of the best places in the area.“

I felt bad for our waitress for getting yelled at by the cook in an open kitchen establishment just for informing chef that an order was to go but the manager or possibly the owner, stepped in and handled it appropriately. “I've never written a review before but I felt compelled to leave one after my experience at Nana's. Yesterday was my first time there and it was awesome. Nana and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and just great to talk to. My boyfriend and I ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken and it filled us both up which is surprising considering my boyfriend eats a lot, but anyways it was delicious, filling, and well priced. We also ordered the tiramisu and fried dough and both were extremely good. We were the only ones dining in there and Nana even threw in some extra fried dough for me. One of the best experiences I've had at restaurant, will definitely be going there again.“

“It's what you'd come to expect from an excellent Diner, and it definitely has something of a family atmosphere, as well as one of "community" from the locals who live in the area. It's a diner, and not some highbrow restaurant, but considering what it is, I gave it five stars across the board. The portions are not tiny, but they're not tremendously large either, but it certainly is delicious, the service is friendly & decent-good (some visits I've had to flag-down my waitress to ask for a coffee refill, which I then soon recieved; & the staff is good with removing finished plates & trash from your table), & it's busy but roomy "diner" atmosphere is nice.“

“Great little spot. They have three locations that are open all day, they serve breakfast and lunch foods as well. Their prices are a little higher than average for breakfast items, but the flavor makes up for it. Even on a busy day the service was great.“

“I am traveling alone for work and am back it CT. I was warmly welcomed and offered to sit at the counter. There were some empty tables and I asked if I could sit at a table. I understand that being the weekend those are reserved for larger parties. However, I was allowed to sit at a table, and proceeded to place my order. I ordered the #2 which came with two eggs, toast, home fries and a choice of meat.The eggs were perfectly cooked to order. The home fries were flavorful and I decided to forgo the ketchup (which I have used at other establishments in order to give the home fries flavor). The cinnamon raisin toast was perfect. The bacon was crispy. If you are in New London sometime you will not be disappointed if you stopped here for brunch.“

“I went here for a work lunch and I had a pretty good experience! The service was really good, we had people join as they showed up and as soon as someone new arrived at the table, someone was over to ask them for their beverage order. Our food also arrived very quickly after ordering and the view of the golf course was lovely. I got the spicy chicken wrap and it was only okay, it was a little on the drier side and the tortilla seemed a little stale. It was peeling kind of strangely and felt hard. The fries were good, though. It was a still a good experience, there was a lot of seating available so I highly recommend for larger groups.“

“We had a wonderful experience. Farm to table fresh. The shrimp and crabmeat chowder was the best we have ever had. Made with fresh cream and butter and lots of shrimp and real sweet crabmeat. (Many places add whitefish but this was all wonderful crabmeat). The flatbread and the coconut curry dish were also spectacular and we also enjoyed them for lunch the next day. It was nice and slow and relaxed, with a wonderful atmosphere and nice music. Very pleasant servers and atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening. Will definitely be back!“

“We were a group of 5 in bit of rush to catch the ferry but came across this as we wanted to grab a quick bite before the ferry. Melora at Little Galapagos was the most fantastic server. She was amazingly helpful with the menu, quick with drinks and food, and went way above and beyond on service level. This was a completely random find for us and we were so glad we came here. Service was outstanding, profession without being stuffy. Very attentive without being pushy. Prices are surprisingly affordable. Off street parking, and ramped. Handicapped accessible. NOW, the food! Everything was beautifully presented. She have the French toast. Fluffy, flavorful cinnamon just highlighted the comfort food vibe. They do their own baking. I had on of the specials. Chicken ranch wrap. Perfect wrap bread. fresh chicken breast, not deli slices. Fresh veggies, lettuce, tomato, pepper, and a wonderful dressing. Everything played well together. “Not your regular restaurant. We stopped for brunch on our way to the Orient Point ferry. What a wonderful surprise it was. Everything served is way above the standard quality of regular and even fine restaurants, for a very moderate price. I wish we would have a place like this closer to home!“
