“Best DQ in CT the ice cream is just different here the texture and taste is way better, the toppings are always generous and they actually fill the cup over the top so you definitely get what you pay for here. The employees are always polite and always get the orders correct.

Parking: There’s like 15 parking spots there is 1 handicap spot but no matter where you park you’ll be close to the building.

“I come from Spain and it is my first time eating a steamed burger, a delight, something new that is worth trying. In my case I had the steamed salmon and my partner had the classic beef steam hamburger.
The place is nice, the decoration is very American haha ​​with all the cutouts and paintings from past times it transports you to America in the 1900s. They play good music all the time, classics from the 90s and 80s.
The service of 10, an older couple who make the homemade food themselves, it is appreciated to have a place like this to rest from so much junk fast food.

“Updating review to let you know being under staff is still a problem. People are leaving as I write this review. 10 people just left. We're being ignored and there are only 2 waiters so I can't blame them. You need to pay better or something. Poor waiters are running around like crazy.

“Stopped by here on a whim as I was driving through. I got the black bean burger, which was incredible (built my own with a bun, cheddar, and some avocado). It was well made and crispy on the edges. Very flavorful. The French fries were awesome too - seasoned well. They tasted almost like curly fries, but better.
Staff was welcoming. Food came out within 5 minutes.

It seems that we have found new catering for our family functions, and I can't thank you enough. It saved me much needed time and things were simply delicious. I was at this location and the fries were PERFECT - crispy outside and tender inside. I think this was my favorite french fry experience. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it. I'll be back. “We love the James Madison House. I just had the best food I have eaten in 2024. Tonight’s Shrimp Scampi over spaghetti squash was the best dinner I have had anywhere in CT. Presentation was 5 star good. The spaghetti squash was actually better than the shrimp. I can’t believe a pub bar can produce such incredible food. And it was gluten free to boot. I had an unbelievable experience there tonight. My wife’s tacos were top shelf as well. Keep it up friends at JMH. Can’t get a better dinner anywhere.“

“The best Grilled Chicken “Panino” I have ever had!! Flavors were delicious. A light sandwich that didn’t make you feel like a load after you ate it. The bread was soft and fluffy.
