“First time here and went with a traditional cheese pie. YUMMY!! The sauce is amazing and for us it had just the right amount of cheese. Some will find the flop factor a negative but I truly didnt care as the taste made up for it!! We will for sure be back to try more menu items!“

“Great place. I’ll have to make it a point to work it into the calendar more. Beer was excellent. 24 different beers on tap I believe. Burger was great - big and delicious and my wife enjoyed her wrap. Bonus points for the King Diamond and Rob Halford photos on the wall. I didn’t get to check out all the prints. Cool spot. We’ll be back.“

Julia was so friendly and attentive and gave great food recommendations for our next visit! But The food… TREMENDOUS! The Chef certainly takes his job seriously. The clam chowder in the bread bowl was the best we’ve ever had, portions were great and everything tasted so fresh and perfectly seasoned! 10000% will be our new go-to spot to eat!“

“Cozy atmosphere, really extensive wine list and comprehensive tasting notes. I love to do a wine flight (3 2 oz. glasses) and do a blind tasting with a partner, then try to match them to the wine based off of the tasting notes. We also tried the chocolate lava cake, which was decent and a good pairing with the drinks. Service was attentive and excellent. A wonderful experience overall, and an underrated gem in the neighborhood.“

Last night we returned to dine in the tavern, food was absolutely delicious, Mariah our server greeted us with a friendly warm smile that she never lost each time she came to our table.
